I honestly wish more translators would do this. It always sounded weird to me adding Japanese honorifics in an English translation.

Me and Alpha go back and forth on this depending on the series, with some you can get away with dropping honorifics without issue. 100 Girlfriends though, would've been a nightmare if we'd dropped them entirely.

Speaking of all this to San or not to San speak, one thing I REALLY HATE is when onee-san or onee-chan is translated into nothingness, like when an onee-san type character talks in the third person and the translators just leave out onee-san and don't even bother translating it into big sis or big sister.

Translators are supposed to translate the language, not remove whatever words they want from the language to make things easier for themselves.

...Right, which is why it's weird if you blindly mistranslate every oniisan and oneesan as "big brother" and "big sister" even when that's not at all what they mean depending on the context. That random old gramps on the street trying to get your attention isn't calling you a big brother, he's calling you a young man, buddy, fella, whatever.

Yeah but I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about when it's clearly an onee-san straight out of an oneexshota practically and the translator decides to just leave out any and all mentions of onee or sister, it's just annoying.

Anyways I've just seen some really trashy translations, and it sucks, especially when the manga is good and I can't even enjoy it because the only person translating it doesn't even seem to possess a basic understanding of anything Japanese or anime or manga related.

Btw I'm not saying your translation is trashy, it's really good. I'm talking about some other translators.
