From what has been shown of the manager so far - he seems like a chill guy and I doubt he will turn out to be a "villain". He might seem so from a child's perspective, and there will be drama from Ichikawa's side, but in the end the protagonist shall realize that the world is not as simple and you have to sacrifice some things to reach certain goals. It's not good or bad, it's just reality.

An optimistic outcome would be if the agency said that they can still be BF/GF but that there can be no pictures or postings about it on any site. Fat chance. Still too risky for exposure. You may remember how Mai x Sakuta caused a ruckus when exposed in Bunny Girl Senpai and they were HS students, not MS students. Mai was an actress/model like Anna too, and not an idol (as Mai's half-sister was).
