Aya's presence for this meeting was absolutely instrumental.
Nakamura looks way different from her original self. It's like she did the most growing. Kasuga looks like an older, shaggier version of himself. The real change for him is in the face, and it goes from "innocently wide"-ish as a kid to withdrawn as a teen to finally more open after he stops running away. Most of Saeki's changes were in the first half, where she went from similarly innocent to broken to "innocent" again; in her appearance in Part 2, she looks older but otherwise mostly the same. Her boyfriend even looks like what Kasuga would look like if he retained his original appearance while growing older. She seems to have changed the least. Then there's Kinoshita. She also seemed more like a slightly older version of her original self, but her face has gone from outspoken, quick to emotion, and defiant to withdrawn and sad. She seems more like a mirror of Kasuga, except without the final stage in his growth.

Something is off, Nakamura seems like on medical treatment, almost dope'd off, her mother was against their meeting too so she knows well what they did during childhood...
It's good that Kasuga took Tokiwa along, she's the best girl he met so far and wholesomely supportive.
