I mean with the absolutely adorable happy expressions he always has and seemingly being able to see Scarlet, and wishing all of them luck with "and may you all go with the blessings of the gods themselves." I get a distinct cherub-y vibe from the guy. I really hope he's as wholesome as the drawings of him, I don't know why, I just want to pinch him! <3

@JeDePi agree. If he was already a priest when he became a lord is like that he joined out of his own free will and his debauchery persona is just a facade to keep the rotten nobles under supervision in case they do something like human trafficking.

Just want to comment that this is first time I see a jp manga based on British nobility properly used the numerous/titles (and usually the translator generalized -sama as Lady, despite only daughter of Viscount/Baron referred as 'Miss'). Usually they just go Count X from X land and that's their only title. Irl nobility have many land/titles so Abc Def the Duke of X may also a Baron of Y.

@Shrimperor character like Scarlet usually be very protective to someone like Connie once she found out how gullible shes toward someones deception. i imagine Scarlet would be harsh on Connie if they really meet while still alive in different setting, but at the back Scarlet would be looking out for Connie in secret once she taken a liking to Connie
