To be perfectly honest, I dont think they particularly care how it is done (and whether it is magical or not. They see something threatening their monopoly on "curing".
Yes and no. Yes, they're threatened by the challenge to their monopoly; however, once they fully realize that he's using methods that can cure diseases they can't, they're probably going to shift gears from "assassination" to "kidnapping and interrogating", since they were already trying to figure out how to treat those diseases anyways (I think they called it the "incomplete magic theory" or something in a prior chapter).

Nursemaid's elbow? Thankfully, it looks like I have never had one of those. But from the illustration, it seems really painful, especially for a child.

Thank you for the update. By the way, K-Manga is not available in my country, so thank you, guys!

Ecles is a good guy, but his subordinates are too loyal for their own good.

I wish I had something thoughtful to add to the conversation, but all I can think of is how much Alec-kun reminds me of a skink turned into a dragon...

She is going to, either, remain loyal to Ecles or slowly convert to Amami’s side

Anyway, I’m looking forward to how she’ll react to Amami’s healing methods since she is unaware about him not using healing magic

No, what? Don’t bring her. Are you stupid?
In his defence, the good doc is right to bring her along. Remember that he sees the Six Stars girl as Saia's senior, and Saia did a phenomenal job in helping with the dwarven boy, Hugh. So, any help he can get must be quite welcome.

While others see nothing but animosity, remember that his (version of the) Hippocratic oath ensures he does not turn away from those in need, even when the patient was a scumbag priest.

Remember , guys the six stars are set up to be rivals not outright enemies of MC and the demis.

Its the top of the church who are more on the human supremacy side , the six stars including the bishop were raised by that kind of government body and even then they do their job right and dont seem to be really racist , bishop dude was treating slum dwellers and prostitutes incognito and seems to legit want to be good.

These people just dont have enough exposure to other races , i think they will get along with the main casts fine once they get to know eachother.

This is all setting to purging the main church of corruption so they can fight the demon king anyway.

I would want too see the MC learn why the humans wants the monopoly of healing magic. I don't think he knows yet the past.

And see his reaction and find an actual solution that doesn't end with the same ending as AoT when paradis threw away their deterrence.

didnt expect the six star girl to volunteer as hostage/observer. i thought its really Ecles idea. and also certainly didnt expect Amami to meet one of Six star face to face this soon too.

this will be interesting considering that Ecles teching to six star also has some modern health science too, which the girl undoubtedly will notice.

Fun setup. The spying six star will definitely get converted to Amami's side (even if it's opposed to the existing power structure the humans rely on) because she's fundamentally a good person. The six stars seemed kinda ominous and morally ambiguous when they were introduced but ultimately they seem morally good and just limited by their limited knowledge/perspective, whereas the actual baddies are all very in-your-face mustache-twirling malicious types lol.
the six star definitely "good" in human standard. its just that in mixed race situation they are showing the same tendency toward Human supremacy since they grow up in human country and part of the church afterall.
though it will be interesting since their teacher Ecles also quite unorthodox and teach them some modern science stuff that regular people cant understand, thats where i think the six star will take interest in Amami who knows it better all the stuff Ecles teach them except the magic part.

I think it's also important that at the end of the day Ecles has explicitly basically a philosphy that connects to the Doctor's of we need something to help those who don't have a human magician or a magician with enough power close to them. Finding out that his methods though are also limited and really complimented by human healing magic probably makes a big change to Ecles trying to find a solution to protect him in the end of the day.
