I expect his anxieties to pop up real bad here and him to worry about fucking up, but for everything to be just fine in the end and his new coworkers hoping he sticks around

Please let nothing serious befall our MC lest he loses motivation and goes back to being a disappointment! He's doing great so far.

The final day arrives during his night shift. Our MC, working the last sprint in hopes to be usefull, has yet to return home. He was paid upfront for the overtime and has just half an hour to go before returning home and purchasing the golem.
Suddenly, an armed cavalry appears and starts beating on the store. Our MC and his senpai are utterly confused. Why cavalry? Why this store? Why are they so ugly?
Then it hits him. These bandits aren't human, and their after something much more precious than money.
At this point he wonders just how far this company is able to go. To hire actors and dress them up as goblins and wolves. To be able to get the owner of the store to agree to such a brutal frontal attack...
He looks at his co-workers, who seem to be conflicted on whether they should cower or take a closer look at this unorthodox spectral.
Are they in on it too?
He can't help but doubt himself at this point. For a stunt this big, they would have had to get permission from the store owner. He surly would have informed his employees... assuming they are really his employees to begin with. But what about his father? Was this all planned from the beginning? Too many people are involved now for him to be sure. But, if that is the case. If this store was a stage from the beginning... then how long would his father have known? Could the one who had that game sent to him actually be....
The glass breaks. Monsters flood the room.
A large one... a hobgoblin, speaks.
"We here kill God of fate. Temple we smash. Shrine we destroy"
He looked at them confuse, then noticed the fragment of the statue in his right hands, and half of the girl in his blood red left hand.
It was too late. The wave had come while he was still at work and ended long before he could go home. Without a proper wall, army, and god... the villagers did not stand a chance.
His eyes tear up as the hobgoblin approaches. Throwing the girls lifeless body onto the god, who breaks into despair. As he cries and screams, the hobgoblin lifts the remnants of the statue above his head, and thrusts it down towards his head....
