I already took the bait. I took the bait the moment I fucking cared and admitted what I felt for the type of dialogue that he gives and reminds me of everything shitty and disgusting and the current state of affairs.

What do you guys think about proposals to restrict social media and web usage to people over the age of eighteen, requiring a federal ID to log online? Making it a restricted access product like alcohol or tobacco.

Would keep kids from being exposed to porn and other forms of insecurity acquisition, while also making sure children aren't being groomed into dangerous ideologies. Also prevents web addictions that are known to cause mental health issues.

At least anger is novel at the least, at least caring about something is something I haven't fucking done in months, even if it's the most trivial piece of bullshit in a space that doesn't exist. Any database that must exist to make this work will inherently be vulnerable from two angles. One being that the government will have your ID attached to every single thing you have ever viewed, to counteract this in the corporate scene they do so by obfuscating the data with a hash that even the company itself can not decipher. Facebook does not know your password, it only knows the hash to your password. This solution doesn't work for the government though, as there is no one that can oversee the government to prove that they do actually use a hash, and second, do not have the ability to decode it. The potential costs in allowing that much monitoring unfettered is contemptible.

Second, assume that isn't an issue. No database is secure, with any leak of personal information comes an attachment of ID to anything you have ever viewed, opening venues for blackmail never before seen possible and on a highly targeted scale.

It is a terrible solution, and I wouldn't ask for it unless the government would drop all pretense of pretending to trust it's citizens and just use China's social credit system.

What I mean is he's probably fine with short talks, not so much for "what is the meaning of life?" debates. This thread encompasses all things political regardless of border, and that's just about it.

The last time there was a Halo outrage Timur settled it peacefully, the rest of you angry lots are pouring in way too much rage into this.
