Didn't appeasement never work? I remember in HOI4 I'd always have to get rid of Neville Chamberlain before I could switch form a Civilian Economy.

I know for a goddamn fact that she was probably the one that the DNC wanted to win but considering that Tulsi Gabbard utterly destroyed her in the debates, and she did absolutely terribly in the Primaries, the put her with the dementia ridden old fart that is Biden.
Imagine if the first female President not only got in on a technicality but was expressly BECAUSE she was a diversity hire, and not because she’d be the best for the job.

The fact remains you're still making the same argument these guys make about politics in shows, sports, movies etc. But that wasn't the only point I made. Over all. The "boohoo politics" dogma is moot here because all Zephyrus did was explain why the update was late. Then people started crying about politics being put in a thread. Also that cheese deflection can also start a political discussion. It depends on the person.

Neither the British nor the French were prepared for another war with the threat from the far East and the one close to home; time was needed to both gear up and make allies.
Remember that only about 1.5 decades have passed since the last great war, hardly enough time to recover manpower and Italy decided to tell the League of Nations to fuck themselves by invading Ethiopia. The inability to do anything basically embolden other militaristic states to go land grabbing. For comparison the United Nations took swift action during the Korean War.

The manner in which you portray those who understand the gratuitousness of unprovoked divisive speech as 'whiny' speaks volumes, giving the impression that you're uninterested in attempting to see where said people are coming from in the first place. I don't believe it would be far-fetched to reason that your combativeness towards this facet of conversational awareness wouldn't be nearly as strong if you didn't choose to engage and surround yourself with kudos goblins.

False equivalency; there's no direct comparison to an online forum except for other online forums. However, more accurate comparisons than the one above can still exist. There's a reason why so many people tell stories of family dinners falling apart from political discussions nowadays. Same thing with the hypothetical cheese lady; regular people can control what they converse about, and recognize when certain topics are inappropriate to broach.
And when thousands of people see an announcement with mention of such an event, it's no wonder that some of them comment on it. This exact context has already been explained to you in my first response.

And again Zephyrus didn't provide an opinion on the attempted coup, only that it was part of the reason the update was late. If he'd said, years ago to his teacher that the reason he couldn't finish his homework was because of Katrina, I doubt the teacher would say "hey! no politics here!" Or if someone complains that they couldn't get a PS5 in part due to the issues of COVID-19.
