I unironically appreciate the snk parallel they make as well. I first thought of it myself right after the basement and I went :pepethink:, then I found I wasn't the only one to make the connection. Only a fraction of people would be willing to acknowledge it as a reasonable analogy, and I'm fortunate enough to know some who are open-minded enough (and not the 'woke' kind of 'open-minded') to consider it and not immediately write it off. I just want jiyuu.

And yes, rap music/culture is absolutely fucking tasteless these days (not like it was ever particularly tasteful, though).

Most people don't go back and read everything from their last post (or from the last time they were online) onward though. Spitting to the wind would be not reading/replying to any @'s received.

Not including an @ when a post is addressed to someone seems more like spitting to the wind, actually, since there's no guarantee they'll see it.

@'s make it clear for everyone exactly who you're addressing. Quotes could be from pages back.

Not trying to dab on you man but I'm just saying it's a good practice and they exist for a reason.

Thanks for coming to my TEDx Talk.

@readingsit I'm wondering then if there isn't just a difference in doing background checks. Some folks like to hold and send them at the end of the day. I got both of my guns within, like, 20 minutes and that was with everything extra. The background came back like instantly.

youve ordered guns before right? was there a time in the past where it took a while? perhaps its streamlined after the first time since instead of a full background check they just need to check the time between your last one and your current one

@readingsit I went two times to the gun store near me to purchase my guns, both were during this past summer/fall. Hell I was able to pick up an AR for 750 2 weeks out from election day.

Outside of a clear background check and photo ID there wasn't much else I had to do.

You live in Wisconsin, don’t you?

Nevada, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Wisconsin, and Wyoming pretty much ignore background checks because “muh infringements.”

But Wisconsin is the only one that’ll let you buy just about anything upfront.

Here in Commiefornia, you have to wait two weeks for a clear. If anything that could be a misunderstanding comes up, you get interviewed by police in front of a judicial clerk. After that it’s another two weeks of processing. Then the two day hold. And then you can pick up your ballistic baby.

Down payment is required first so they can track you.

Yeah, at first I felt weird over the fact that I arrived at that interpretation at the first big lore drop because I thought “maybe it’s my paranoid Yiddish self thinking.”

Then I was browsing the chan a few days afterwards and /pol/ was going mental over this, calling Isayama “/ourguy/“ and stuff like that and I thought “maybe I’m not paranoid?”

But then I saw the wokesters and journalists trying to criticize them and I thought “/pol/ almost always hits it dead on if they’re being criticized. they are correct, again....”
I wouldn’t be surprised if this is why Isayama is usually so quiet when asked to talk about his inspirations for the manga.

He doesn’t even mention the easy and obvious Nazi Germany in regards to Marley, he just stays as quiet as possible and just talks about circular hatred and the stupidity of hate.

There’s 118 pages of discussion here. It would pretty hard to summarize all of it and be impartial.

But I’ll try:
We mainly covered religion and why and why not to be a part of one.

We talked about race and why the people who still fixate on it are morons. As well as the woke crowd and why they are exacerbating these things.

We talked about America and why Senator Armstrong was correct.

We talked about guns and how it’s a mess due to everyone’s biases.

We talked about the election and how it was a disaster for all regardless of political lean.

We talked about political bias and how everyone has one.

We talked about online censorship because it’s basically the corporate ministry of truth.

We talked about autism, lgbt stuff and the ever changing language surrounding leftism and anything it supports.

We talked about the stimulus and why it’s meh.

We talked about the economy and why it’s probably deteriorating at an unfixable rate.

We talked about why communism and socialism are bad.

We talked about r/wallstreetbets and the stunt they pulled.

I think that covers most of the recent stuff from up till January.

Do people actually do this?
Shop exclusively at places owned by people with a certain skin color.
Because you know what that's called? Racism.
