Thanks a ton for reading!

Sorry this was super late. It turns out 32 pages in 2 weeks was too much for this noob. Next time, I'll go with 10 pages a week as my personal release frequency. Haha!

Dang, this sounds like an "ending" ending, though. I hope that increased sales could motivate them to release more, so please support the author if you can!

Thanks for the scanlation/translation.
Yeah, this definitely read like the series got an early axe. The moment we jumped ahead, that internal worry just .....ho boy.

They got saved by a skeletal death knight. I've seen a few, but it's not often I see friendly undead characters who are not the main character. Jill is a mage, and Bruno is training to be a swordsman, but I'm surprised Eren is adventuring with them. I wonder what her combat role is? I kinda like the idea they might form an adventuring party and this becomes an adventure story, but there's no Adventure tag for this.

So Luke continues to keep in touch with Jill, even if that was not really a recent letter. Seems promising for a potential romantic subplot, even though there's no Romance tag either. I'm kind of worried about all the time skips though.

Checking BookLive, the individual releases do stop at chapter 5 and it was from 2020 so I can vouch for the info on the credits page. As much as it pains me, this does look like it's gone on hiatus... Just when things have gotten more interesting, it stops. Man, what a bummer.
It's concerning that I cannot find this on CMOA or EbookJapan, but on BookLive this does not have the "Completed" tag. Unless anyone can dig up a cancellation/axing announcement though, this isn't axed, yet. Just on hiatus.

Thanks for the TL!

she lost all that weight in 8 months?
Medieval European-like setting, a commoner's life is a very active one. Lots of chores to do for a single household, even with only two people and no refrigeration to keep produce fresh. Shopping needs to be done daily, laundry and cleaning needs to be done by hand, and they generally walk everywhere. Add in portion control for their meals, a limited amount of ingredients for their cooking that aren't as rich as the capital, or even modern day products, it's feasible.

but she was so fat that I thought she was there for at least 3 to 5 years to lose all of that, even with anime logic

Daily exercise just from lifestyle with no servants like she used to have, a reasonable diet, and maybe even the metabolism she might have could probably accomplish it. Plus there's the use of mana too. We don't know yet if this is one of those titles where the use of magic takes a physical toll on the caster, but that might also contribute.

I'd expect 3-5 years of the kind of people we see in pictures or otherwise in a Walmart.
