The thing about this story is that we see all of this from Naofumis angle. So we dont see any of the good(no mater how small) the other heros do. Sure they are flawed but i would not say that they are evil more like clueless, there behavior is like gamers in a mmo.
Im the guild master how can some low level player contribute more than me "begone thot".

Something in that way of thinking.

Not that it matters though because i'm sure you'll still say the story is cliche. I don't think it really matters whether it's cliched or not. What matters is how enjoyable the story is, despite the cliche and so far, I'm still enjoying this manga.

Let's not forget that the entire chocobo race support them. Let's not forget that an entire nation of humanoid racoons workship them. Disregard that, here's a side damsel with thinly veiled hidden power suddenly finding herself in distress. This excuse of a plot is on par with that in a porn flick.

You can all condemn Bow Hero for framing squirrel girl, but at least admit his guts and decisiveness to say to the squirrel girl right on her face that he doesn't need her.
He's basically an isekai romcom mc, but at least he can properly cut ties with someone, even though it's done under shield's pressure.

Way better than a certain indecisive mc that not only never gives proper answer to someone's confession, he's even borderline playing around with her feeling.

But he didn't. After being ashamed that he's frakkin' useless, he came up with a whole spiel, roped in everyone else to lie along with him and forced her to tears after.

Only after Naofumi convinced him that he's being watched, he decided to put on a somewhat benevolent face and starts yammering about how he just wanted to protect her. Just to make it seem as if it wasn't him being petty and vindictive. Even more, after she heard everything and asked if it were true, he still didn't come clean. Instead he lied and said to her that she was weak and drove her to suicide.

He is a gutless asshole and I seriously hope that she'll just reject him when the time comes that he'll ask her to join once more.

For all we know, squirrel might actually be a real burden all this time and bow's just using this time's scene to finally cut her for good.
Bow ain't even the one orchestrating the whole scheme, he just let his lackey doing their own thing.

Though I guess I projected the romcom's mc nice guy persona on him too much and forget that in this manga, everyone's an asshole first and foremost.
