Can someone remind me why nobody thinks that somebody who doesn't know the common sense of this world (like a very popular festival downtown), and has huge magic powers, isn't automatically flagged as a savior ? I mean, aside from plot.

@Doenyon I don't think it's weird enough yet. She's already living in the mountains (rather than the city) and they don't have internet, so losing track of time, or simply moved here from somewhere else both seem plausible for not knowing the festival. As for the magic powers, it's us readers who have seen it. ML basically saw some very competent casting and knows she has some good artefacts (without knowing she magicked them effortlessly into existence). Both he and his friend recognise what barrier charms are and can put a price to them, this means other magicians probably already make and sell these (in order to know what the pricing should be). So everything is just really weird and wacky about her, but nothing is too overpowered yet.

@trirose You're not wrong, but it feels like stretching. I mean she is casting stuff and saying she is doing so, like her house and it's protection, the heals she does, the barrier gems. And it's not just the festival, she knows absolutely nothing of the country she's in.
Anyways, it got answered later as I've now read. won't spoil though.
