I'm glad Kaori answered a lot of questions that were left and explained why she didn't confess herself even when she knew about Shizuku's obvious feelings. I think it still doesn't completely make up for dragging out the confession the past few chapters, but I feel better about it.

Looking forward to any extras. I hope there is a happy one showing Shizuku living a fulfilling life in the future.

everyone processes grief in different ways, and whilst this has an upbeat ending and it's all smiles and light, i still think the friends that barge into her room and force her to do stuff are incredibly shitty - yea yea 'it's for your own good' etc but it's super patronising and just insensitive

Re-read the story. At the start MC was on the line of trying to kill herself, and when the girl she loved with all her heart and that let her finaly feel something else than total emptiness died she felt like dying too.
From start to finish MC only had one thing in mind, "i do it for Kaori", so if the one that drive her to move die she wont have anythings to push her forward.

The two were harsh but she would never had the strength to get over it alone of they didn't do so, and since she have a non existant relationship with her family they wouldn't have been able to help her.

Even if it was violent it's literaly what saved her.

Thank you for translating. When I've read something scanlated that I truly love, then I buy the physical copies to the support the author. Volumes 1-4 of the English release are now on my shelf. Worried about reading them as I fear they're going to end up with numerous damp spots on the pages.
