i expected the letter to arrive and start a downpour of emotions for the little sister. i did honestly not expect her to be one such character to figure out the situation by herself. i might just be used to such clueless side-characters from other series, so this is a pleasent surprise. once the actual letter arrives, and once the king has recovered enough to be made aware of the situation, i wonder how the whole situation will unfold.

Mia is their real daughter. Philia is her cousin, and actually the daughter of a sister whom the parents completely hate, mostly because she is a considerably better person than either of them. Further, Mia loves her aunt (the real Philia mother) which is yet one more thing for the parents to hate her and Philia for. Basically, the parents are both garbage that is envious of an actual good person related to them.

Seems overkill. There are three real criminals who used the absence of the king to implement their plan.
They deserve blame, along with some high-level professionals who whined about someone being more proficient at their jobs than they are, if you stretch things a bit.
The king and most citizens are probably innocent and don't deserve to fall to a demon invasion as a result.

She won't let things get to that point with him as by the time they will get married she will most likely have found all the evidence she needs and then when everyone involved thinks it is safe she will "burn" them down.

She is a very smart person so she knows she has to play along for now, but like I said, I would think she is smart enough to not let things get further than where SHE wants. She finds the prince repulsive to no end, no way would she actually end up marrying him. The only way it would happen is if she can't gather evidence fast enough...but I doubt that will be a problem.
