Honestly Keith starting to seem like a nice choice, but she'd still have to worry about him choosing another woman since faries are fickle so no matter who she chooses she'll probably always have that fear, except she doesnt know about Keith's route the way she does Aqua

@Akashi-san

She was childhood friends with him. Way before tiara came into the pic

Why should she stay away cause tiara is a jealous hypocrite who gets anxious when aquaman is talking to another girl but she herself goes caloodaling with the fairy

Honestly tiara seems way more likely to cheat then waterhorese. And the comments here have no self awareness cheering her on. You do realize if she goes with Keith she might as well be as bad as the previous heroine and fiance? But nooooo, it's okay when the self insert MC does it

She deserves to get cucked

To be honest, I kinda understand Tiararose. At this point, she only feel helpless. No matter what she does, it's like she can never win against fate. And at the same time, she feels like she's borrowing someone's position and messing up fate itself. I know I like Aquasteed and all that, but perhaps with the fairy king, she may not feel that kind of pre determined fate anymore. Sigh.

I have an opinion and what's wrong wit that. How dare you be so rude to a stranger simply because you do not agree with them or understand their point. Aqua is ridiculously annoying right now. I HATE AiShiRa. Poor Tiara is suffering again, as if she hasn't suffered enough, her fiancé is unobservant, and when he does observe something, he's too scared to do anything. That brat of a "model lady" behaves like a child, she clearly needs to be admonished for her behaviour, taught the difference between right and wrong, and taught that she can't have everything she wants. She also needs to stop being a home wrecker, and stop getting so close to a man that's engaged to someone other than her, especially one whom she has feelings for, which she isn't even trying to hide. Not to mention, sea fairies are definitely the weakest. Keith is level headed, observant, intelligent, genuinely cares for Tiara, and actually takes action to help her than letting her suffer to death. Not to mention, the forest fairies have given her their blessing, the fairies who most likely have a greater wrath than those sea fairies ever could. Instead of pleasing a stupid child, Aqua should not neglect the one who is backed by one of the most rare, and powerful fairies around, especially since she is his fiancé, in a new place that he has brought her, and then proceeded to not give her proper attention. Keith's actions have been nothing but beneficial. I honestly wish that Tiara could just live happily in the forest with him and have no more troubles. And in case you haven't noticed, I LOVE Tiara, however I miss her spirit, and her character hasn't been written as well as it had been, and while her actions are understandable, I also want her to take charge of her life, but obviously her circumstances have brought her into a miserable position.
@theilikepie
AND YOU! Aishira may be childhood friends with him but that doesn't mean she shouldn't keep her distance. HE'S ENGAGED!!! And she has feelings for him, while he obviously doesn't. And she keeps causing problems. She's not just talking, she's getting to close, and flirting, and trying to keep him to herself, when she has no right to. Keith has been Tiara's friend, and she always makes it clear that he should keep his distance, also when he does't listen to her there is nothing she can do because he's a powerful fairy king. She has no fault. And if you reply, I'll probably ignore it because I don't like you for depending a bitchy, bratty, white lotus.

Tiararose is not just jealous guys, she is scared that it will end up like the game cos the last time she got engaged she was abandoned even though she didn’t act like a villainess at all. Its called trauma guys. She’s had enough with broken engagement and broken heart. Also, she can’t exactly offend the fairy king can she? Like dude, when offended, the fairy king might even wilt all the plant and the trees, no more forest for u!

Exactly, why can't people understand. They're so apathetic. Do they even understand how hard it is to get over trauma? The fact that she's been so strong this entire time is inspiring, all while doing the right thing. And, what they can't seem to see is that in a new foreign country, she has no power. However, wasn't she supported by the king of her old country? And her father loves her very much and he's not weak either. Add the forest fairies... Honestly Aqua should be doing a way better job taking care of Tiara because if he doesn't he'll have hell to face. Now I really miss Rachel's story.

Ngl I can't bring myself to dislike Keith's intervention knowing Aqua can't fully devote himself to Tiara with his position as crown prince. It's not like he's just kidnapping her purely out of his own self interest (ok well...maybe a little). He does this because he cares seeing how exhausted and distressed Tiara is (remember she can't sleep because she has nightmares about the game's outcomes), puts her to rest in a place completely removed from the source of her anxieties, and still appears in front of Aqua as a warning sign of his commitment.

Keep in mind Tiara is in a far away land on her own and can't even walk around the palace comfortably knowing her love rival is meeting up with her fiance every day. It's not just her paranoia or imagination either, the cake incident really shows Aqua can't fully commit to Tiara without Aishira getting involved. So even though Aqua loves her, if Aishira develops feelings for him then who is he going to have to choose? While Aishira seems like a nice (albeit naive) girl who will understand if you just tell her flat out she shouldn't be involved with another person's fiance, this chapter still makes it clear that the sea fairies will act destructively if she is emotionally upset. Soo... I'd be worried whether Tiara can remain happy there as long as this predicament exists.

Honestly, if Tiara didn't make it fully clear that she loves Aqua, I'd push her to Keith instead. Screw the politics and human noble society which ruined her the last time. She even secretly confesses that she wishes she was as carefree as the fairies are, which is something she can't dare tell Aqua. I just want her to be happy dammit ;^;

@JWChibi Well as capricious as fairies can be, at least the FOREST fairies aren't as fickle in terms of their preference of humans since they rarely get attached to any. So I think she wouldn't have to worry about the fairy king himself taking an interest in another woman :)

Stop giving Keith sh*t when he’s literally the only person who cares about Tiara right now and is the only person who’s actually DOING something about it. Even if his actions are kinda forceful, he’s doing what he has to do to make sure that Tiara is getting some rest because honestly, she seems to be on the verge of a mental breakdown.

Some of ya’ll also have to be blind to not be able to see that Tiara is making it clear that she is not interested in Keith. What more do you want her to do, fight him? He’s literally the fairy king of the forest, and I doubt she even has the energy to resist at this point when she seems to be on the verge of collapsing. There’s also nothing wrong with Tiara being insecure when her fiancé is spending more time with another woman than her, even if it’s out of simple consideration. Tiara understands that Agua is simply doing his job as a prince, but she can’t help getting anxious when it appears that the events are playing out according to the storyline and she can’t prevent it.

Agua’s indecisiveness is making me kind of furious. I can understand that there are certain things he need to do because of his role as a prince, but that doesn’t excuse his behavior. Where did his observance go? Even if he has to be nice to Aishira for fear of angering the sea fairies, shouldn’t he at least explain that to Tiara? Isn’t that the bare minimum that he should naturally know to do considering how she was already hurt once?

I’m assuming that the sea fairies are hostile towards Tiara because Aishira has feelings towards Prince Agua. Since it was said that the sea fairies have a strong attachment towards the person they favor (Aishira), aren’t they showing hatred towards Tiara because Aishira is secretly saddened that Prince Agua now has a fiancé? Otherwise there would be no reason for the sea fairies who are the most amicable to humans to show so much hostility towards Tiara. If Aishira has feelings towards Agua, then she should know better than to stick around. Isn’t she just abusing her power as a princess and the fact that she’s favored by the sea fairies in order to hang around Agua? The only reason why she hasn’t been called out for it is because she’s portrayed to the public as a kind and naive little princess who is fair and loves everyone.

@Sparklepink12K and that’s why I asked. Fairy King’s character is “designed to be hated” (something common in a lot of love stories) being meddlesome and selfish, so I was curious in what you find likeable in it.
I didn’t say that your opinion is shit, I asked where did it came from. Relax.
Anyway, thanks for the explanation.

Upon reading the comments, I guess I’m not the only who’s annoyed by Aqua in the recent chapters. Damn, the amount of mental stress Tiara had gone through and Aqua realized it just now 😑

Seems I’ll wave my “Go Keith!” banner for the meantime.

Although Keith is meddlesome he is trying to help her. I don't ship them though because Tiara has been very clear about that, and I still think Aqua is the best choice even though he hasn't been that great the latest chapters...

I love you Aqua, your chara design is so pretty... But sorry, Keith won this time. I'm pretty sure Keith was designed to be hated, that's why they didn't bother making Keith explain his actions... But right now, Keith's action speaks louder than Aqua's words.. :'))

And while at it, i think i'm dropping this at here before i get even more angst.. lol XD

Tell me if the manga already ended tho.. i want to see their wedding XD

Hmm... I honestly took a break from this since the novel made me a bit irritated with this arc but judging from the comments, it seems either the adaptation did a much better portrayal since a lot more people are accepting Keith's intervention. I probably wouldn't be able to handle reading Tiara's insecurities, I don't hate it and I understand her POV. Again, she barely did anything villainous in her original engagement (and it was justified involvement in itself since if I remember it right, Tiara's reason was simply because of Akari being overly close with HER then fiance) yet got scr*wed either way by fate. Sure, the plot changed when Aqua intervened but Tiara was only strong enough back then because by then her feelings to her ex fiance wasn't that big enough AND she had the support of her family and the king meanwhile here, her main supports are her lone maid she managed to bring, Aqua and his aide, 2 out of 3 of those supports NEED to somehow satisfy the sea fairies who are acting out of Aishira's subconscious wish to be with Aqua/her feelings either buried really deep or she hasn't realized it (according to initial spoilers,
she has yet to realize it
but since I skipped a few chapters, I'm not sure how they portrayed it here). Aqua's problem here is his lack of communicating towards Tiara and his indecisiveness, sure he did better than her ex fiance but if this is the same guy who was stalking her back at the academy days, he should've noticed Tiara's worries and insomnia, even a little and TRIED to comfort/reassure her. I don't know if it'll improve the situation given Tiara's worries and possessiveness (I stopped at the part where Tiara was in a bubble or something) but an explanation would be nice AND giving Aishira a little distance/mature conversation would be nice. If she can't control her feelings and the sea faeries contrary to her words and actions, then its her fault as a favored person for NOT pulling away from a man who is currently happily engaged and also partially Aqua's fault who then has to choose between the sea or forest.

While I'm not sure if they'll adapt
the amnesia subplot
but Keith's actions from what I've seen have been the most... caring to Tiara. Girl has either insomnia or nightmares, either way she lacks sleep which forced Keith's intervention. If he didn't get involve, Tiara might actually self destruct from those bottled up worries.

Ugh this chapter really made me dislike Prince Aqua. What a bummer. He’s so indecisive that it’s annoying. I’m definitely jumping on the King Keith ship.

Thanks for translating this chapter.
