Same thing happened with isekais when the trend started booming. A lot of authors decided to make isekais with absolutely no idea as to where their story is headed because it's trendy, and it's an easy thing to do. Laziness at its peak

@Renan_Walheim The comments section has indeed been a trash fire for no good reason, but author explained why he ended it himself. He felt like he was taking the characters in original directions, and didn't want to have them linked to Saki (to avoid giving her a bad reputation or whatever). He ended this series at the end of April, a full month before Saki announced her retirement.
