And so it ends. One of the few times I appreciate a super short good series. I really like the fact that the author doesn't downplay anything and give both girls a serving of reality and that reality hits like a truck. They both fail to achieve the very thing they hoped for the moment they had left everything in Tokyo which leads them to no other places than the first place they wanted to run away from. That's poetic.

Thanks for the translation until the end.

Kitanai Kimi ga Ichiban Kawaii. It's another Yuri Hime manga, rather notorious for its dark themes and ending. Let's just say the protagonists find themselves in a similar situation where they've run away from it all, but they take a more drastic solution.
Oh that one

it feels so much wasted.. this manga have realistic problems with so much potential. But all i can see at the end, the author just throwing it, really unfortunate.
But well, that how is life. Sometimes, it's just keep circling.

The "last arc" was a bit rushed so it feels like nothing happened but I think that it was always the intended ending, the sweeter part of the bittersweet (they are still together, there is still hope that they will eventually make it and their character growth make them find solace in each other) just doesn't come off strong enough because of the execution but the idea is still good.

really don't like how it ends. it feels like there's a message here which is "follow your dreams. you'll probably fail and have to go back to your shit life."
okay.

Probably I am the only one who thinks that end was fitting. Is it very happy? No. Did much change from first chapter? No. The thing is, life isn't easy and things don't play out like you want it to play out - it end it it's about how you mentally face life and in that regard I think Haru is mentally better prepared to face life than at the start of the manga.

feels like it ended half way through the story the author wanted to tell. perhaps the way this story is told its more "responsible" since the outcome where "everything works out" would lead people to thinking "yeah that's what i should do" ya know giving up their corpo controlled lives and trying to live happily but idk perhaps its not people but society that's wrong. really cruel ending, i've seen worse but only in situations where the protagonists end up killing themselves. the story's structure is basically "life is hell and will destroy you if your not tough enough then life is heaven but doesn't provide enough to live so the only recourse is to become strong enough to survive in a hellish life, there is no heaven."

i wanna like the manga because the art is fire and most of what happens in it is enjoyable but i just cant get behind the message.

I always believed that manga series that got the axe didn't make it far enough to get localized. Well this one just proved me wrong. I thought people were overreacting around chapter 11 or so saying this was axed. I thought they just saw its length and assumed as such. I get to chapter 15 and good lord the amount of egg on my face.

I dont think the mangaka had enough time and room to express what they wanted with the whole story, this ending could be a little clearer on how they actually managed

So we can imsgine they worked in tokyo for a while again and then eventually once they had better footing and proper money, they moved back to the aunt's house and got married and the manga's message is that you cant hurry up with your dreams or youll trip, but theyre still not unachievable.

Ngl the part where it said they had nonstop sex scared me cuz thats usually something that happens at the end of psychological mangas before they DIE

Yes this is the end. There's still extras for volume 3 coming, in September, and it might be longer than usual considering this volume was suspiciously a full chapter short on the page count.

But it's safe to say it was axed. There's some unnatural circumstances, especially the sudden hiatuses, and it felt like this chapter was racing through plot points that easily could have taken up more chapters, assuming this was the intended conclusion.

All things told, I think it wrapped up nicely. There's some great payoffs with Haru returning to how she was in chapter 1, Haru seeing herself in Hinoto, Haru tearing up the marriage certificate, the way they traded suffering over each other over the course of the manga, and them finally having absolutely nothing left.

Also more manga seriously need to end with the protagonists saying, "Fuck it all, let's just have sex all day."

It's a happy enough ending: they recognize their true happiness is each other and are willing to suffer through the grind together. But I don't think for a moment this was Keyyan's original vision. It just doesn't add up thematically, coming up weak if they're simply meant to be 2 dumb kids who got in over their heads and returned to life. The story needed more ups and downs for that to work, instead of one big fall before quickly calling it quits. And the message of "just have a girlfriend who'll die for you" isn't likely to resonate with those sympathizing with their situation. As much as I love Haru and Hinoto's never-ending commitment to one another.

So while I admire Keyyan's ability to make the best of this, and I'm happy it wasn't KitaKawa 2, I'm pretty dissatisfied. As you might be able to tell by the credits page.

Seriously, I'm going to jump off a bridge if The Princess of Sylph doesn't make it. A short bridge but it'll hurt my ankles.
Reading this after what happened with princess of Sylph.

I don't know if you hurt your ankles, but hopefully we are able to continue reading that story
