My guess would be that the author is one of her friends or family that's gone to the same school and used her as a model for the main character. So that she's sometimes do something similarly as what she'd do in the novel isn't that unlikely. That she started out with drawing how the school looked kind of hinted that she might be the author, but with this chapter that's kind of out of the question I guess.
I sort of don't want it to go the supernatural route, and it doesn't have a supernatural tag yet as far as I can see.
This reminds me a hell lot of that Webtoon Character manhwa about a guy who discovers that a comic author has the power to write reality as they wish.

Weebs are desensitized to all that sexualization
I still remember when I started watching anime properly like 25 years ago and my reaction to some of the fan service. I had watched .hacksign which didn't have a lot of it, and downloaded the sequel. Which was ridden with fan service. That was a weird experience.
Though I guess I got used to it over time, but I still aren't that fond of panty shots.

"Oh no! the chest! the cleavage!"
I can hear Go Nagai, Rumiko Takahashi and Yabuki Kentaro laughing out loud in the distance.

Damn we found something amazing! I hope the story is not too short without dragging things out. I hope the author finds a way to make the story go far.

Those who said in the first chapter that this feels like an early 2000s manga weren't exactly wrong, but in a way it's kinda nice to see the same old tropes played straight for once. I feel like there's a charm to that, too!
Well yeah, just not those annoying background characters

Oh god that point systems seems demonic. I really don't understand Japan's tolerance for that kinda of stuff (and I think the east in general). It's the awful mix of in game currency and ads like reading Manga is a freemium mobile game. Square's is still the worst to me. Locking their Manga behind both a coin/token/whatever system and inflating the value of everything by cutting chapters into parts.

80pts seems insane to read chapter 2 and judging by the amount of time she was waiting, it couldn't have been quick or easy to get. At that point it starts to feel like ads cost more than any price of a volume or subscription charge. Especially as you realize these same companies are taking algorithmic data and studying your habits and interests and etc to either sell to those same ad companies or push more ads in your face. At that point the cow they're milking isn't nostalgia, but all their users.

Otherwise fine chapter, but... there's not much happening here huh? I mean this is chapter two so I don't have huge expectations, but it's literally just "completely out of touch high school girl reads Manga for the first time." actually wondering why this wasn't just written as a 4-koma because so much nothing happened. I'd have even taken just if like her parents or butler or maid discovered her reading Manga and there was a bit fo a confrontation. But we don't even see a confrontation between the classmates and Mc after being called out by the literal most popular girl in school. Also just wait until she discoveres hand holding.

I still think this series feels off, I feel like they're going to pull the rug from under our feet any time

But maybe I'm just too pessimistic loll
