I honestly still enjoyed this chapter, despite what others said about pacing. This series just does dialogue in a way that's so charming to me; it's not even that funny, but it feels so laid-back and cozy.
In fact, chapter 4 is better than chapter 3, in my opinion. A quick mage-of-the-week gets defeated in 8 pages, which feels perfectly fine. This encounter was clearly supposed to be short. In chapter 3, the buildup was much longer, so its conclusion felt underwhelming to a certain extent.
Can't wait to see all these goofballs interact more in future chapters. The elite mage task force honestly sort of resembles Osoegawa and Yobuko, with Urasa being chill and Tsujimura being much more active.
