There's already plenty of OP isekai MC's out there, so no point in complaining. I like this one because he's really laid back and the pacing is nice. yummy slice of life.

I like this isekai because the trio is nice.
The MC doesn't do outrageous things. And it's feru and Sui that are OP and impress everyone.
But the setting is not forced (feru is OP and know it. Sui is innocent and cute)

It's amazing how the protagonist is basically just an NPC, but he still manages to be one of the most endearing and relatable characters. Fenrir is a great character, Sui is perfection, and the dynamic between the trio is just on point. Not a single fight has had any level of weight to it, and it's got some food porn slapped in to make everything better. Truly, this is peak isekai.

Well said, this is exactly how I feel about this manga.
And I'm so glad it stays consistent with its premise, that's why it's funny and interesting. Dude is allowed to not want to fight, it's not just that it's extra difficult with his crappy base stats, he also obviously hates seeing bloody stuff and he's just not some battle hungry butcher. There is nothing wrong in prefering a peaceful life - and this is from someone who loves nekketsu and as no problem with spending a lot of time levelling up in games, it's just that it's nice to have something different once in a while, and that people are allowed to be scared and/or to dislike fights.

I like Feru. So tired of submissive MCs who refuse to acknowledge accomplishments in order to seem humble, when really they're just selling themselves short and patronizing the others. It's Fenrir, he's a legend, everyone knows he's a living disaster and they finally realize he's actually Fenrir.

"I killed them in minutes and then he cooked them up and we had lunch." Is it so hard to say? It's not like they won't believe it.

@Vofuro @Shakur, mc should try something else.. like cold sweet dessert using ice magic or food with veggies using magical ingredient .. 😂.. i enjoy looking at the drawing but it's always meat.. like.. it makes crave the food but it's always meat..

@kamishiniyari : it makes sense though that they eat more meat than anything else, the whole contract was first and foremost to feed Feru, who shouldn't even be eating stuff like sweets etc if he had been a normal dog/wolf, they're not omnivores. But well, MCs' did cook some meal without meat at least once I'm pretty sure, but in the end it's just logical that the two murder creatures need their meet, fighting, running all around the map, and using all kind of powers every day.

@Alseif Oh, of course. The only reason he ever takes part in any fighting is Feru. He was pretty much on his way to become a merchant, until he met Feru. I'm just saying he has everything he needs to become a mere competent adventurer. Everything except the right mindset, that is. But like you say, he would never be high-rank. And I don't even want him to be a fighter, I just want to clarify that he chooses to be support only.

I know what you mean! Though to be honest, I'm sort of glad it's mostly meat right now. I'm not sure I could withstand the temptation of making all these treats, being a major sweet tooth on diet xD
(But it sucks a bit that veggie dishes aren't really an option with Feru!)
