The ONE thing I was disappointed with here is that he doesn't come out and say it explicitly because he pretty much said it. But then, sigh, story logic - Zanma's gotta hold that Big Moment back for another volume.

Jokes aside it'd be really thematic if the cure to her curse backlash is her accepting herself as is and Goro saying "fuck it you're still a keeper".
I wonder if the cure would involve undoing what she did to glasses sociopath.

If it doesnt, it feels like getting away with having done a bad deed herself. But i also dont really care to see his curse undone and would happily let him suffer.

I feel bad for her but all things considered, having someone get tormented for life and you only get the equivalent of a burn scar on your face isnt that bad.

I hope the author keeps her look for a while to drive it home and have a nice big event for its cure

It's a shame Kogane has to suffer such backlash for cursing Glasses to live the life he would have lived if he hadn't lucked into a monster servant. I really like that Zanma-sensei already showed us in chapter 75 that Goro isn't gonna be dissuaded by a slightly beastly Kogane. I never thought a seeming fluff chapter would have such importance. While Zanma-sensei goes through some effort to make "curse" Kogane look different than "third form" Kogane (I thought she was scarred, but I guess that's just supposed to be furrier than her usual hybrid form), I never thought for a second that Goro would abandon her. Thanks as always to sarusa, and I really appreciated the note on how the timeline lined up.

A curse is a curse, the backlash probably gonna go away, just takes time, but taking one for that plant yokai gf guy was a waste.

I think some part of Goro is being too serious and sticking to his trial period idea. Technically, it's kind of a bad sign that she lashed out in anger and did something very unwise, when she coulda just clocked the guy real good with the demon fox strength inherited from her parents.

That would be a little cheap and convenient... mostly this manga has tried to have a little narrative weight to things.
