I understand some of the discourse around the fate of the MC's rapist, it would have been more satisfying for us, the readers, to see him be punished for his actions and held accountable. But I feel like his eventual death is a lot more fitting for the setting, just another casualty to help maintain the lines for his nation. Just another tally on the long list of other's people like Salsa who die during the combat. Hopefully he doesn't get a proper burial or cremation though.

I wonder if the MC will be able to heal that dude's arm back, would assume so if they're able to heal burns and whatnot. Doesn't help to get another somewhat important person's debt to her.

You guys can just compare Salsa’s death to Naridome’s.
They both died as soldiers , contributed to the statistics overall.
But one is remembered by his comrades and died saving a fellow soldier, the other one was an attempted rapist and nobody will ever think about him again.
Dude had a mental break down from ptsd and was a zombie most of the time anyway so him fizzled out of everyone‘s memory is a fitting end.

Glad naridome got to shit himself before dying. Sucks his death was fast though.

He indeed deserved a long agony... but at least we got rid of the Rpist.

Fun facts: Dysentery & Diarrhea are common causes of death ( 60% - 70% ) in battlefields. Because they got weak and delusioned, they got hit by bullets.

Tip: Bring Gatorade into the battlefield.
