Was wondering why she didn't just spend time with her daughter at the amusement park if she's so sorry about the neglectful past, but plot. That guy probably isn't even moving and was trying to use it as an excuse to not see her anymore, he is trash but that also means she didn't even know him that well and was ready to move her daughter in with that guy with no regard for her daughters safety so she's trash too

I still didn't like the mom. But man, she was starting to try. She was finally moving on, and getting some happiness back to share with her daughter. And to see that what I feared at first but thought wouldn't happen thanks to last chapters DID happen >:/ What a betrayal

I wasn't expecting him to be doing an affair, however in the first place I did not expect anything good about him. Just looking at him makes me cringe. I expected the negative part in him to go a completely different direction. She, of all people needs a break from the type of mess that happened in her life. Thankfully, she was able to avoid the worst of it.

When she first starting showing her face as a character I didn't really like her, but my opinion kind of changed when they explained her backstory, and now the fact that she's actually trying to be a proper parent is definitely the right direction for her. She still has her gloominess though. After knowing her like that for so long it feels unnatural for her to not be pissed all the time. I can't picture her ever to be near the level of any of the other characters but she's definitely made an improvement.

Still a few things this manga needs to get it going completely smoothly, but it's getting there.

I wish I got to see his ass kicked by her, but unfortunately this isn't the type of mango that shows that stuff.

I had a feeling that guy was no good. He didn't seem all that in to her, and I think his "I'm moving away, so goodbye" thing was just a way to get away from her.

I wonder if the mom will go back to neglecting Marika. Imagine if Marika didn't have the experience and mental capacity of a middle aged woman...she might be completely broken by this point.

@JWChibi she was trash well before she resolved to move her daughter for a guy she didn't know. She expected her to be independent enough to make all of her own meals, and clean the house, but when she found out Marika had been out of the house, she threatened her. Not to mention taking absolutely no interest in Marika other than that one time she threatened her.
