Guys, Spica and the old man have a lot on common, both kill to satisfy their urge to kill, just Spica happened to kill only killers, that's all. This time, Spica could not kill because he is now a weak old man and she doesn't feel it.

I mean, it might feel a bit pointless and less exciting to have her hit him with the hammer of justice now, but my guess is that the victims would say "don't let that fucker meet his end in peace and get away with it".
But looking forward at what she decides to pull off.
Dying of Alzheimer's or another dementia is hardly meeting your end in peace. A judge would probably find that he lacked the mental capacity to understand his punishment or even that he did something wrong (as hinted by what he said to Spica) so there's no chance the justice system would do anything other than confine him in a mental health institution.
