@Godrena they did. They mentioned that it would be a good name to use if they run into trouble (I'm guessing like if they pissed some people off they could throw the blame to the landlocked brats by using their name)

@Godrena Seem to be same as them yes. Could be that they don't know many that world's names yet, so they went with theirs. Also as they are "unwanted" in their country anyways, so there's no need to travel that way, it's unlikely that they'll meet them.

@Hollow7F Beholders have copyright restrictions because they were invented by Dungeons and Dragons. A similar thing happens with ilithid (soulflayers) and a bunch of other monsters.

I can only imagine, if this was a edgy manga, how things turned out and will turn out for them.

Can anyone spoil the landlocked country king's reaction? And also what happens with them.

Isn’t that Dark Matter from Kirby?
Maybe Backbeard from GeGeGe no Kitaro?
Anyway, flying black eyes are never good

I can't wait for the landlocked country to start crying for help, I wouldn't. I'd be so petty but the FLs look nice and will probably forgive them

@Matchu lmao yeah, how tf is the diplomat just gonna cut ties off with major countries, cut all trade, and prevent travel of their whole country. The only way I see it being reasonable is if the land locked country is planning to go to war with all of them.

@Matchu I was thinking the same thing. They are supposed to be well educated children who have been raised to inherit a country and they just screwed over their country's future economy. I just hope they don't rely on imported foods or innocent people are going to starve from their stupidity. If I was the king I'd put them on prolonged probation and take them out of the line of inheritance to the throne. Hopefully the King has a spare heir who is smart enough to think rationally about how his/she actions may effect the country's prosperity.

From what's been translated, the king of the landlocked country hasn't made an official appearance yet...but it's been hinted that he's just as shady as his children are.

The landlocked country does make an official apology and the other countries lift their embargo on their magic stones as promised, but the councilmen mention that the apology didn't feel genuine, rather, it felt like they were just saying it because they didn't care whether the trade re-opened or not. Even though the landlocked country continues to buy magic stones from the other countries, the council feels that their need doesn't feel as urgent as it was in the past, so it makes them suspicious.

During all that, Maki and Chiharu discover that they can "cleanse" the monsters (like the gazer in this chapter) that spawn from the miasma. They realize that they can communicate with some of them and find out that the monsters are attracted to the saints because they have the power to cleanse them. The most recent chapter I read, Maki and Chiharu find out that the monsters that are emerging are not ones that are usually found in the area and they have their suspicions that the monsters are coming from the landlocked country in some way.

I think the landlocked country are conducting experiments to produce monsters from the miasma so they can extract magic stones from them in some way...possible amassing them to declare war on the other countries, seeing how hostile they are to them.

2 to several million. It's friendly if you're a saint, it's a scary monster if you're not.

@Hollow7F - Beholder is a Dungeons and Dragons monster that has a large central eye surrounded by a bunch of lesser eyes on stalks. Each eye has its own unpleasant spell to shoot.
The term "gazer" is often used for any lesser knock-off monster.
For example, beholder in DnD5 is a large CR 13 monster (that is, a monster that can challenge a 13th level party by itself), while gazer in DnD5 is a tiny CR 1/2 monster (that is, it needs to gather in crowds of 2 gazers per adventurer for it to be considered a fight even for level 1 beginner adventurers).
