Comedy can be dark. But depth is tough for you.

People defaulting to "it's DARK coMEDy yOu wouLdN'T GeT IT" is such a cop out when we're 3 months and 16 chapters in and there hasn't been one funny scene outside of the initial shock of Chapter 1. For it to be a dark comedy it has to be subversive and play with your expectations, but if we've gotten 15 straight chapters of suffering with no levity it's not really doing that is it? Y'all are really media illiterate if you can't see the difference between a Dark series with Comedy like Chainsaw Man or Kagurabachi and a Thriller like this where nothing is intentionally funny, you just laugh because you get off to suffering.

The main character should protect her, even the original Karagaki didn't deserve this kind of treatment, the main character is an asshole for not defending her. He could at least have called a teacher to stop the bullying. I hope the He gets the same treatment as the new Karagaki or worse.

The MC is not a good person, he even realizes that he's messed up in the head in the previous chapters. I think this will go into the bad end route as the author does have a history of crafting a story in which the MC messed up something and it ended fatal for them. So I think if you wanted to resume reading, assume that it's a spiraling tragedy story of a messed MC.

Called it.... I thought maybe she just replaced her brain because it was too damaged, but it's a totally new person. Well, effectively same thing.

This new person might be "artificial" but there's no reason to think that she would be functionally any different from a regular human depending on that aliens technology. The way she even describes the AI makes me think it's not a "digital" brain, but a real one with an imprint using an AI. Sort of like digitizing your consciousness, then printing it onto a real biological brain.

So even though her "initial settings" are to be meek and docile....let's see how far that goes before she changes after being bullied.

OR....people think Haru is learning about how cruel humans can be but I don't think she thinks much beyond making the environment better for herself and the MC. She could....replace ALL the bullies. With more manageable clones. I'd bet on that outcome, except the author didn't show any of the bullies faces.
