1.rubber bullets are able to kill at this range (they aren't injury "free" like that)
2.the weight of the weapon would limit her maneuverability and with multiple targets all armed and skilled (assuming they have done his before - seeing how they are willing to kidnap a duke's kid)
2-5. she would have definitely lost due to adrenaline kicking in and other possible "maybe" factors
2-7. something also annoyed me - what if the enemies threw their weapons???

@Meowmeowpeow Those are valid points, but they were all addressed in the story. The blood magic she learned is for dealing with the recoil and weight of the weapon, and she directly mentioned"non-lethal" rounds being able to kill, which is why she didn't test them right away. Also, the magic makes her far quicker and more agile than random bandits, and she'd probably be able to catch a thrown dagger like the dragonfly before.
