This new revelation for her power is going right over my head, can someone explain it to me?

and is her true power not the ability to relive days, but 're-observation'? or is re-observation just the true power of her perfect memory ability, on top of being able to relive days too?
also Yuuka still has no memory of the erased days, despite it being revealed that shes the one whos been choosing the days?
Yuuka doesnt remember the days she snipped, her power is only useful when she gets info about these days from Aya, that's why she is very eager and always wants to listen about the days Aya went through so she can find them easily before the current day ends and decide if she wants Aya to relive that day.

It's not stated too explicitly, not even in the LN, how the repeating days enters into it. Her power is essentially that, rather than storing memories in her brain, she can simply mentally return to the point in time she wishes to remember using magic and observe it a second time.

This potentially causes the repetition of days, but a light implication, especially in the context of Yūna's power, is that the days were already repeating before she showed up, but, because of her power, she can remember them. (Tho, now that she's around to remember the repeated days, she's become inextricably tied to them.)

"Being blown away" by everything that has happened in this chapter seems to be the right description of it.

Thank you for the chapter!

Can't get over how over the top the accident is. The first car needed to have a speed way over the speed limit it's supossed to drive in to actually manage that stunt. Plus, i'm no no specialist but i don't think cars are suposs to explode on impact with another car, they're not made of C4.

tldr: her power is the ability to perfectly remember everything even from second or third hand information and essentially "perfectly predict" what various changes would cause if she were to have different actions and she is ACTUALLY dreaming when everything other than A days are being relayed to us, Yuuka has the ability to "edit" actions and memories by removing those thoughts and actions to make people go down a different path, which she can easily do with MC's skill

pretty much the only one that is actually doing magic is Yuuka, MC is just a great documentational tool to allow Yuuka to get the desired outcome

It just so happened that they were smuggling explosives. :02:

Wait a fucking second, is Ayaka fated to die that day so Michiru keeps looping to try save her, with her dying in the most stupid ways possible? Does that mean this was all along a Final Destination lesbian fanfic? :meguupog:

I know its supposed to be serious and traumatic, but that was some goofy final destination type shit 😭💀

You can't outrun death the same way you can't outrun gay feelings, they'll always find a way to get you when you last expect, sometimes it just happens to be in a very explosive way.

...We're not sure this does come from Yūka. The repetition appears to have begun well before Yūka entered her life, with days other than A being chosen, and it seems like Yūka only rarely puts her thumb on the scale, just enough to benefit her while (in theory) not being obvious to Aya.

If Yuuka IS the primacy force behind non-A days being chosen... she might have had an effect on the situation beforehand because according to Yuuka "it was love at first sight" and her powers clearly allow her to edit away days... so her simply meeting Aya made her decide "let me just edit out anything that keeps her away from me" and gaslight little Aya into reciting everything that happened before hand to create a much shorter period between being hated and meeting Yuuka

this is reinforced by the fact Aya does not ever state or show any clear understanding of WHY she was hated at a young age due to her ability when we see the parents flashback earlier on in the story

This seems to be true regardless of Yūka is the primary driving force of non-A days being true. Yūka puts her thumb on the scale to attempt to isolate Aya.

But, also, they first met when Aya was 10 and, even if Yūka was somehow aware of Aya's power before then, she wasn't in Aya's life so she didn't have the ability to choose days as precisely as she could after meeting Aya.

Also, if she became a witch at a similar age to Michiru, this would mean she had newly become a witch just, like, three or so years before she met Aya and Aya can remember the seven years before that and how non-A days were chosen in those seven years.

Also, this all colors her "love at first sight" narrative. When she met Aya, a 10 year old girl who had just lost her relationship with her parents, isolated and alone and hating herself, but with immense power, she immediately decided that she wanted to possess her. From the start, Aya was always a convenient tool to her. Maybe she also loves her and has been sexually attracted to her since she was 10. That wouldn't, like, make her better, but it's also entirely unclear that this is true.
