She suspects that Goeidou forced herself on Kanako. Sumika probably assumes the many reasons a person might want to shower after something like that. But like earlier in the chapter, Sumika is afraid to ask and doesn't want to inquire about something that would be delicate, if true. At this point, she still doesn't know exactly what happened in the hotel. And that's not revealed yet either, not until later.Thank you for the translation!
Why did Sumika make that face where Kaneko asked if she could have shower? Did she know that shower is a good place to cry??
She is half concerned for what could had happened to her and half horny because her girlfriend is taking a shower at her place.Thank you for the translation!

I think the Author finally made Goeidu a little complex, when Nene asks her if she liked Sumika, she kinda drops her facade and pauses before she lies about hating her.. So she is twisted.. But there’s more to it… initially she was 2 dimensional, but not there is a bit of complexity to her character..My hatred for Goeidou will never go away. She kept avoiding the matter and solely focusing on "the importance of love" and how she gaslights Nene... god, that's infuriating.
I hope we'll never see her again and no amount of redemption can make me like her.
That's what's happening in this volume--starting to happen--among other things.Isn't it time to reach a turning point so that Kanoko puts her soul at peace with Hime, she closes the matter (perhaps leaving Sumika who returns to Nene) and we return to the two main protagonists?
I assume Goeidou didn't do anything with Kanoko in the end
Emphasis on "starting to happen" cause even in the untranslated chapters (there are two more chapters out rn, cause this month there was no new chapter) we're still not back to the main protagonists...That's what's happening in this volume--starting to happen--among other things.
There was a new chapter this month. Where are you looking? They come out on about the 18th every month. It's at 61 right now, with 62 next month. As for what you said:Emphasis on "starting to happen" cause even in the untranslated chapters (there are two more chapters out rn, cause this month there was no new chapter) we're still not back to the main protagonists...
Very true, but here we are in a fictional story and that scene was made specifically for a reason.Okay y'all know that the stuff we saw with our eyeballs on the page more than qualifies as sexual assault by itself, right?
Yeah apparently they don't lol. I guess if you're a bit unlikable (to some), lines get blurry.Okay y'all know that the stuff we saw with our eyeballs on the page more than qualifies as sexual assault by itself, right?
Sexual assault victims not reporting their assaults to the police is, tragically, extremely common. This is for a number of reasons, ranging from broad distrust of police in general, fear of not being believed, not wanting to retraumatize oneself by having to recount the experience to a stranger, etc. Frankly, I would be shocked if Kanoko - who, remember, is bad at talking under the best of circumstances - did report.Very true, but here we are in a fictional story and that scene was made specifically for a reason.
In fact, Sumika immediately asked Kanoko to go to the police to report the incident, but she refused.
