I think Jack Vance's Cugel novels (bizarre fantasy comedies from the 1960s and 80s) would be really well-suited to the format.
That's an interesting perspective. I'd like to see Dying Earth adapted to other media although nothing about it strikes me as particularly manga-like.

bonus points since it has quite a lotta action and humor— would be interesting to see in manga format

I would support LotR, Wheel of Time, and Dune adaptations.

Others I would like are:
  • Le Guin's Earthsea
  • Discworld
  • Dragonriders of Pern
  • Sabriel

I would also like to see an adaption of the Wandering Inn.
It's already an isekai with leveling. For one character, it's more a slice of life and Ryoka has a more grimdark world.

Dumas' Three Musketeers should be good for manga adaptation. There's a lot of action. Not much blah-blah. Many different characters for all perverts tastes.

I think Forgotten ruin by Jason Anspach would make for a really compelling isekai manga. And I also seen a Narnia manga around here somewhere. Oh I almost forgot but another one I'd have to recommend is He Who Fights with Monsters its about a half japanese aussie gettin Ya know isekai'ed i haven't kept up with it tho.

Topic: No idea, but as mentioned itt Homers works and the Three Musketeers might do well, we also have a good manga about Hannibal vs Scipio and the second Punic war but that one is not fantasy.

@Falador being a fan of fantasy novels myself the list would be endless but my no. 1 would be Eragon. This story is too good for the bad movie adaptation. It saddened me that after the one movie it was buried and forgotten 😢
I'm not into fiction outside of anime & manga, but a friend recommended me Eragon. It's one of the only books I plan on reading outside of the ln&manga sphere; how good is it?
