Cowboy Bebop (though that seems like a cop-out given how incredibly well the series has aged), the original Trigun, Excel Saga (half '90's, so I guess it counts?), the Ghost in the Shell movie, Outlaw Star (which, yes, pales in comparison with Cowboy Bebop, but has its moments).

Ranma 1/2 is mostly 90's, and if you can stomach the complete lack of overall plot, it's a nice bit of fluff.

I would include the first 24 episodes of Eva, but the last two completely ruin the series (fight me), and no amount of retconning with movies makes up for that (also fight me).

Also, La Blue Girl, if you want to go that route.

I agree with the panda above, unless you have an issue with hitting a panda, Ranma 1/2 is totally a classic, even if the chapters were more episodic than anything (though there were archs). If I had to pick a second, it would be Magic Knight Rayearth.

For me, it will be Serial Experiment Lain, because i was that nerdy guy sitting in the front of the class who were reading books on computer architecture, theorical physics and neuroscience for fun (and playing video games because that's also fun). This show was hitting the right spot for me. And I didn't improved with time, i've just read even more complicated books, so i like SEL even more now.

Full Metal Alchemist 2003 was also excelent, it's the second place for me. It did age very well. And it's even better than the manga or FMA brotherhood !

Escaflowne. I still dust off the DVD box set and watch it every now and then.
I watched only because of the ED. It was fire.

The combat soundtrack every other episode is also a banger. I got the chills like when Fran is fighting in Reincarnated as A SWORD.

Oh My Goddes!

Well that's only title from 90' I can remember :/ Everything else is either 80' (or even 70' ) or 2000+
Since I only watch on TV back then, never watched of this. It was practically not rated for broadcasting.

This Ranma 1/2 went on full broadcast when I was a kid and I saw tits and ass of ranma and akane's ass (bath scene). I can say, wow.

Record of Lodoss War.

Though, I say that but I have yet to actually watch the dang thing.

Can agree to that, and I even have a bootleg DVD box set of the show in dual audio (the fox kids / YTV audio) that I have "Borrowed" from my big sis for safe keeping.

The anime for Lodoss is quite bizarre. The first season have 8 canon episodes, then the 8 to 13 episode are retconned in the second season and are a kind of alternative version of the first episodes of the second season. Also, there is a scenaristic break in the second season, you change the characters, you don't follow parn's group (and it's great). The perils of the adaptation of a light novel/mangas...

The spin-offs looks quite good, Crystania is, i really want to watch "Rune solider Louie". Seriously, Lodoss is quite a rabbit hole when you begin to dig, there is so much stuff : light novels (a lots), mangas adaptations (all very good), the animes, the sword worlds spin-offs (same universe, also good), the Rune Soldier spin-offs, and so on. It's a very good licence, everyone should at least try it ! Go check the fan translations on the record of lodoss war wiki !

Oh, I know of it alright. and technically it's that Louie is just a part of Sword World. Just waiting on a certain someone to finish up translating the actual game. (though it's partially translated and playable) Also has a few of the replays translated and the world guides also translated.
