She's fallen in love with one witch (who she pretends to hate) and has become a fan girl of another. Happens to the best of us. I'm thinking she'll reach her limit again though.I miss Certified Hater Hanako. Seven chapters ago she would be throwing hands with these influencers the second she found out they were witches.
What happened to you, Hanako? You used to be cool.
No, we already know she's bad news from ch. 1. Sadako was purposely kept out of human habitats by whoever her "parent" witch was, she has zero understanding of mortality or morals, and she somehow either outlived her parent, meaning she's more immortal than or outright killed her, or she was abandoned by her. More importantly, it's played for laughs in the chapter, but the phone camera caught her true form in her first selfie which matches exactly how Mone sees her. Let's also not forget that we only see how the thrillseekers met their end by accident, but there are a heck of a lot of bones inside the house. That Mone witch is either her instincts are correct or just out of jealousy because they were all getting along and she gets unnoticed.
I dunno, right now we can see that the 4M group were like animal spirits originally so probably already full of magical power. especially given Tae-Wol needed to go to this house, which sits on a leyline to recharge. So Witchery is something that can be granted? Then what's Sadako's position in this whole lineage? As far as we know, she's been alone since forever and never met another witch until she went out into the modern world.
Well how shes introduced she doesnt know how humans work. No, we already know she's bad news from ch. 1. it makes sense that mone would be wary of her given these examples, but i still think she's misjudging sadako at least a bit. the "dangerous" aura may very well be just because she's very powerful, as we've already seen. she's been pretty completely oblivious to human customs and all, and we've never seen her outright kill anyone (or even have a grasp on the concept of death). we really just have to wait and see, i'm sure more of her backstory will be revealed in future chapters. No, we already know she's bad news from ch. 1. She might be related to an oni. Somehow that ties into things. One of them is.on another note, i don't know why it never struck me that hanako's an actual witch... looking back on it now, it was so obvious. no wonder she's so strong.
yeah, i was just rereading and noticed that. although i think technically in this world onis are considered witches too, it seems to be an umbrella term? since the group of 4 seem to be animal spirits(?) rather than traditional witches, but still referred to as such. She might be related to an oni.
