I started reading this because the premise seemed silly and good for a few laughs, but I expected to drop it once it started getting too dumb.

However, it's starting to look worth sticking around for longer. I like it when authors use genre tropes in a different way, or undermine them entirely. We'll see how it goes.

I don't mind the excitement over the common sense, but why just go over it and don't unravel the misunderstanding/find the perpetrator imminently? Just let it stay however it was set up seems off to me. So where is the praised common sense in that?

It ended up way dumber than I expected.
I was hoping for something like The Monsters of 1st Grade, Class A, with a legitimate cast of disturbing villains and Hanako serving as Saotome's knight to protect him — I didn't expect them to actually be turned so easily.

Looks like she never really felt that kind of love (even from her gay friend) so she will experience it fully with Saotome. I could be wrong.

OK, that flashback does not justify Aoi's reason for hating guys. The only thing the flashback directly shows guys doing is openly call her hot (the nerve?) and ask her if she would date them (how dare they?). If anything the flashback shows that the girls from Aoi's past were the ones being mean towards her for rejecting the guys rather than the guys she rejected. I don't know why a past like that warrants her hating men.

I know Aoi's there to fill the trope of ice queen who opens up for the lead, but did the author have to throw in the "I hate men" angle? Especially since the justification for her misandry is really weak.
