Best example Hanako herself. She embodied the independent typ character /delinquent. Let her be and in return I won't bother you. Just don't intervene in my life. But winthin 10 chapters her character has fully diapered. She not only get by coincidence dragged into the meddling of all the girls by now, but actively involves herself. It takes of the uniqueness if so to speak. Maybe it is the catering to make fanservice moments happening. But this in hindsight destroys what could be enjoying to read. The charm gives the generic harem crap to much place.

Looking back, she never organized any of the things her posse did to the MC. At best, she just steered clear of him and at worse, she just complained about him being there. If she was personally going after him due to her hatred, then yeah, I'd agree with you.

To be fair, one of those two is an expert in blackmail so she can smell something fishy from a mile away, and the other one has seen basically every girl in this school try to frame MC or try to make him into their bitch. Obviously they're not going to assume immediately he'd do something so stupid/perverted when he hasn't shown interest in that kind of thing. I like characters being logical.


I'd also like to see the black-haired girl to go on an arc to get over her misandry. People overcoming their prejudices is one of my favorite types of character arcs because it's interesting.

@spandxltd WHen did she say this? Also, even if she did, this was a harem romcom manga, and this is like an overused trope, so it's not surprising that a lot of people thought it was going to go that route.
