Thank you for Chapter 44! Were in a pretty exciting part of the story. It will get a little slow after the war but honestly this manga is so fun to read. I did prefer the web novel but since it's finished I just look forward to this now.

A series as good as this one deserved a much better prologue than that edgy torture porn stuff. I dropped it multiple times because the first few chapters leave such a bad impression while at the same time completely misrepresenting the tone and themes of the rest of the story. The author should have started the story on the third life and then drip fed us information about the first 2 lives as the story went on.

So the latest upload is absolutely an amazing chapter, adding so-much-more to the world building, filling in blanks, and then-some. It definitely adds to that "why" some things happened, "how" those things happened, and "where". Honestly, Chapter 49 got me super excited after so long of waiting and being bored the last few chapters. Sure, there's a lot of fan-service, especially in the current-middle chapters between 10 and 48, but it has been pretty droll. 49 just added that extra life-filling that explains things that NEEDED explaining, probably a lot sooner... and also feels like a season-ending.

How is this a harem manga? Sure, there's a lot of girls around the MC, but he's a kid and the girls have kids with other guys. Like, I don't see how there's any harem if they're not in a committed relationship with the MC.

I see the sex violence tag: can anyone please tell me if this has rape and if it is any of the main girls that gets raped?

Right so basically a couple of rapes that justify the sexual VIOLENCE tag. I hate that those happened to some of the main characters. Also given that the protagonist is a child he doesn't have any sex (until chapter 25 anwy though I doubt anything will change). Feels bad all around. Plot wise, the revenge bit seems like a gimmick and so far completely forgotten. It has some very slow chapters too where nothing important is happening.

I generally have mixed feelings bout this series but I guess I will keep reading.

@Infamouspixie70 read again: He never says "stole my friends" (cause he technically had none), he says "stole everything that was supposed to be mine", however, think about it again, why did Amemiya got the extra cheats? Did he tell Rodcorte "give me that guy's thing too"?

The one who did wrong was Rodcorte, Amemiya got everything but it wasn't like he even knew that it was from someone else, the MC was the last one to remain, nobody else could have known that he was forgotten. MC was hot blooded for sure at the moment he died, but if you think about it properly, Amemiya is not the culprit, MC just couldn't think straight.
Could someone give me some spoilers to his old classmates (as it will take a lot of time to reach this point in the manga)
What will happen with Van and Amemiya? Will there be a showdown or doesn't Van care anymore? Will Amemiya and Naruse (the girl Van saved in his first life) know that they killed him after he had suffered in the lab? Does Naruse know that Amemiya isn't the one who saved her?
I would really appreciate some answers.

It's not in the manga, but I think by this point in the novels, during Kanata's introduction, it explains Amemiya's standing in Origin.
Narumi indeed mistook Amemiya as the boy she knew, and she seemed infatuated with him, however, the misunderstanding was fixed and they had a fight, but became friends again, so she knows that he is not Amamiya, and Amemiya didn't even knew Amamiya in the first place.
We also get a backstory of Amamiya, he was not a student, instead, he was a NEET who was kicked out by his parents for being useless, and he was in the ferry while moving to his uncle's place to get work (he was older than the students, but we know [or should know] that not everyone in the ferry were students: There were students, teachers, those working in the ferry, random people, and the terrorists. Amemiya is part of the "random people" group)

Also, Amamiya did not save Narumi. In case you don't remember the 1st chapter, he tried, but she died anyway just in case. There was technically no "saving" there

--------

Regarding a "showdown or doesn't care anymore"... Things change a lot, I won't spoil it directly, but think of it like this:
In the manga, what do you think are his feelings against those reincarnators? Revenge? Or fear because they have cheats and may want to kill him because of Rod? See?
Now here is the other relevant point: How long do you think they would take to get to Ramda? We know that to get there they have to die, yet all of them have "fortunes" and stuff, meaning that not only they won't die easily, they may live long lives.
Kanata is the first exception, and that's because he was killed by another reincarnator (the fortunes nullify each other).
Amemiya is also the one with the most "luck" in the group.

So try to imagine how long it would take for Amemiya to die and do something in Ramda. And Van knows that.

Now, they do indeed "meet" earlier due to "coincidences", as Van instead becomes "attached" to their 2nd child, the daughter Mei, who is also "indirectly related" to him, as events that happen later lead to those saved by the Undead in the 2nd chapter to want revenge against those who killed the Undead who saved them, and they almost killed Narumi, but when she was found to be pregnant (they don't kill innocents), she was spared.

Regarding them "knowing who they killed", Narumi never found out, but Amemiya did.

After Kanata's death, one of the Bravers codename "Oracle" (Has a cheat that allows him to ask questions to "something", and he receives "indirect answers"), and he asks for a way so that they avoid killing one of their own, and the answer he got was that it was impossible. Through further questions, he found out that they had killed the one Narumi was looking for, and that he was the Undead.

He then went to Amemiya and revealed this truth. They were shocked and regretful, they had no idea. The reason they all found each other was because of Oracle, who asked for the location of those "blessed" by god (and Van was not blessed, get it?), so they found all 100 (and some did not want to join, but were "coerced" into, so yeah, not everyone is happy but it's not explicitly Amemiya's fault either).

Amemiya suggested not telling the truth to Narumi, because she would be too shocked by the truth, and they can't really go back in time and change it.

The Amemiya's first son is named "Hiroshi", his name made by the first Kanji in "Amamiya Hiroto"'s name. The 2nd daughter Mei is named after Pluto, the girl who tried to kill her but spared because of the pregnancy. They do understand their failures and try to do better.

They are not bad people.

That's what I meant, Sorry, phrased it wrong! After all she wouldn't have reincarnated if she hadn't died. ^^
Still hope that Van gets at least a thank you from her.

Still hope that Van gets at least a thank you from her.

Initially however, however, we never got something related to what you are expecting, but this was intentional from Van (he fled before giving them any chance).

Van's form is kinda... He is named "Banda", and looks very different to his main body, and again, Van is tied to her daughter Mei, and Mei is the target of the villain there (Try to imagine the "somewhat common sense" world of Origin facing "a Van". I can tell you that it's funny, since the world could be destroyed, and everyone around him would still be safe.

Anyway, Mei is being protected by "Banda", and indeed, she had been "mysteriously" saved before, but nobody knew what happened besides the children, who never said anything.

During the 2nd Origin Arc, all of the main Bravers are being targeted, but thanks to Banda, Mei and those who know the truth, everything goes alright. However, Amemiya and Narumi have no idea about Banda, but there are priorities.

At one point, Narumi realizes that, Mei is being taught "special" magic, and she realizes that only one person could have taught her that, associating Banda with the Undead. Banda notices that she did not associate the Undead with Amamiya, however, Amemiya and another Braver did, but he hastily threw mucus at their mouths to shut them up, and threatened if anyone wanted to experiment another way of being shut up, so he confirms her suspicions, but that they don't have time to deal with that.

During the fight against the villain, he mentions that they "are being controlled by Amamiya Hiroto" (He knew from very early on, this is because checking the studies of the research facility of the undead, he came to find out that: The boy had about the same age, had 100M of mana somehow and a unique lack of normal attributes, and he liked rice, something that someone who lived inside a lab shouldn't even know much about, hence, he must have been a japanese reincarnator, and he merely connected the dots)

Narumi is in this fight, so at this point, she should have learned that Banda = Undead = Amamiya Hiroto. After winning the fight and the world is now in chaos, before she has any chance of asking anything, Van takes the children to Ramda and tells them that they will be safe, and to work hard to return Origin to normal (basically, a bunch of country leaders betrayed their countries for the villain and a bunch of other stuff made the world literally mindblown), because as it is, the children won't be able to live a normal life. And then he left.

We hear that the Amemiya couple is meeting with their children from time to time, but we never see the events directly.

Here we also get an interesting aspect of Van and his "Guidance". Guidance is something that appears in LN Vol 8 / WN Arc 5, and becomes extra relevant to the rest of the story, but you could say it's a way that makes Van immediately sure of who he can trust and will never betray him, and "the others".

Among the Bravers, there are some who are guided who can meet Van any time through dreams, but Amemiya, Narumi and others are not guided, in fact, although an unconcious act, Van activelly does not want to deal with them in any way, they are nothing more than "Mei and Hiroshi"'s parents.

Van's guidance is something like a pandemy, in that anyone who watches his "Ascending" has a chance of becoming a "believer", to the point that this is one of the Bravers ways of trying to achieve peace in some of the countries: Find a way to broadcast it in those countries with a lot of censorship, and hope that this changes the situation.

Amemiya starts to wonder if, by not being guided, it means that he is somewhat a bad person considering what the consequences of his actions (having killed a potential friend by accident, creating an organization that gave too much power to the person who he thought was a friend), but he is reassured by others that it is not the case. The context is better in explaining his doubts and better acts with the answer he is given.

While Van is fighting the final boss, it's Amemiya, with the help of the new president of the United States (a FERVENT believer) who helps Van the most in his fight in another world, by asking everyone in origin who is watching and listening to him to give Van at least a small prayer for him who is facing an enemy that he must defeat, revealing all the truth about themselves.

That causes Van to power up continuously nullifying the enemy's main power against him, and he overpowers the enemy now.

He did had to go through those believers who "helped him" and thank them in their dreams later though

I tried to skip through the chapters of the webnovel with promising titles to find the answers myself but up at some point I gave up because it became to difficult without knowledge of all the other developments (Van's transformation into the demon lord, Darcia's revival/transformation, creating of dungeons, disputes between gods, "travel" between worlds, politics on Lamda and Origin ...). After you explained it, I get the gist (thank you very much) but I think at some point I think I have to read the whole thing to understand everything (especially the Banda-thing).

According Amemiya + Narumi:
(Unfortunately?) it's kind of a typical development in manga. The MC comes to terms with his/her past (even to the point that they appear apathetic) and everyone goes on with their lives without a clarifying talk. In some cases this may be the best solution in real life but in novels it always feels kind of unsatisfying because it's something your waiting for since the first chapters but it never happens (like in 'Tsuihou Bokensha no Yarinaoshi ~Yousei-kai de Kitae Naoshite Jibun no Ibasho wo Tsukuru~'; even though one of the girls apologizes in the end there's no real talk what lead her to her decisions to abandon her original love and start orgies with the bad guy and the other two + comitting crimes). Everybody goes on with their new lives/family/friends and there's some kind of silent agreement that the other party is sorry/grateful. As I mentioned, this may sometimes be a good solution in real life as it's important to not be stuck in the past but in a story I like a closure in form of a clarifying talk.
