It's not even like there's some great climax it's headed for to justify all the shortcuts it's taking. At least the manga gives us that great dream metaphor suggesting that, at some level, Wataru actually does understand what's happening, even if his conscious mind is struggling to comprehend the current Aika in light of two and a half years of the former version.

Will this story ever make sense? So far it doesn't.

Part of the reason for that is the constant jumping from one scene to the next with no transition panels whatsoever. Like the jump from the convo between and his sister, to him being at school and getting yelled at by a random classmate, to getting flooded by a bypassing truck driving over a bit of pooled water on the road.

Not bad, this makes more sense than some (a lot) of the previously "translated" material. At least it appears as though some level of editing has been brought to bare.
Still, very different from the LN & the Anime so far.

Keep up the work, the more eyes on this manga the better!

I actually thought it was aika thinking about this cup and faucet stuff in the LN..

i had a stroke reading this. i feel like id understand the story better if we could just get a team to consistently do a decent job scanlating this. dont get me wrong im grateful we can read it at all but good lord i havent understood the last 3-4 chapters of this series.

We went with months of non readable translations & even more months without any new chapters at all.
Now when it's finally back on track it get's sniped for like 1 chapter with shitty MTL to the point that it's almost unreadable again & everyone working on this stops again bc it got sniped...

This has to be one of the most confusing manga/anime/ LNs. All three tell a different story Aika is barely in the anime at all (which isn't exactly a negative imo) but then she appears a bit here but has her on POV in the LN.

Anime skips past anything that isn't pure plot and the translation so far for this manga has been all over the place(i don't particularly blame the teams for this and still appreciate the effort) it really is just a mess when looked at together

Nah man the last chapter was good, readable & understandable, quality wise worlds apart from everything that we have gotten before that for a long time. You did a good job & of course no one can expect perfection bc of MTL but at least it was readable & understandable. A big problem is that it's so text heavy & complicated to translate for non japanese speakers/readers that only few dares to even touch it.

It's just this whole series is an absolute abomination. It's like Frankenstein's Monster.
It's held together by unlikable characters, chapters from different translators with swaying quality, slow releases, shitty MTL, good MTL & a plot that constantly jumps around with stupid cuts & transitions to a point where you think the chapters/panels are in the wrong order (Which they probably are at least in this chapter)

It has a lot of text yes because it is closer to the source (LN) and even then it is still glossing over a lot of things, this manga has been cursed by MTL because of that lol I assure you nobody will want to cleanly translate this much text for free (maybe except the spanish group where I bought the raws and cleaned versions lol)

Oh and about the pages out of order, I checked with the raws I have and I can assure you they are not out of order, this manga is just that chaotic.

Yeah at this point it's not about the TL that is bad. It's the manga itself that is bad. You got this story that just dash and jump through here and there catching conflict one after another with sometimes not being able to solve the former conflict before catching another one. Pretty much just "Miscommunication: The Manga", which is funny because the miscommunication breaks through the dimension and goes to our world making people confused on what they're talking about


This brings me with one of the catchphrase frequently said in John Wick 3: "Where does it end?" cuz tbh I really can't see where the hell does this story ends.
