I myself never really talk about art as good or bad unless its really really bad or incomprehensible or bad transitions. Conversely it has to be some super amazing art for me to mention it too. If you twisted my arms to give an answer for this series I'd say it's passable, at least perspectives aren't changing in the same panel like alot of newer series have been and proper human proportions.I know everyone is clamoring about the premise but putting that fun topic aside, is not one going to mention that art of this manga is pretty mid. Can't even enjoy this very "fun" story because of that.
Dman so true it got all the you know what thingsWe've hit peak isekai, it's all downhill from here.
But it's not just Isekai thats getting bad works done, pretty much anything that originates from web novels nowadays sucks more balls then one of those carnival clown swivel prize things at fairs. Over saturation means all the good stuff is already being made into a series or was already axed (Cause even though its good with so many generic series out many series also start off kinda generic). It's not gonna get any better until an industry collapse at this rate.I hate to be that guy who says a scanlator who does it for free on the stuff they care about shouldn't work on a series, but damn with countless much better manga orphaned around it's a waste that people are working on garbage like this. Were it not for the isekai fad stuff like this would be rejected by their editors on the first draft and laughed at, it's not even trying to be good or a parody or a full blown hentai (doesn't even have that going for it), it's just yet another half assed harem power fantasy with a stupid premise and even worse execution.
Well we've experienced fads in manga before, several of them in fact from high school harem romcoms to battle royales just to name some notable ones we've seen, with some smaller fads like detective manga and cooking manga every now and then. This is probably the biggest and longest lasting fad there's been, but they usually end when some other concept becomes extremely successful and influential and a ton of mangaka start copying the formula trying to get a slice of the pie. I think part of the reason Isekai is still around is that the formula is now so generic they write themselves so it's much easier to make. As for what will be the next fad, i have no idea, Villainess manga sort of became a popular fad semi recently to the point where it killed off most shoujos but they overlap a bit with isekais in concept if not execution. But it's not just Isekai thats getting bad works done, pretty much anything that originates from web novels nowadays sucks more balls then one of those carnival clown swivel prize things at fairs. It's as far as I know just slapped on for that genre sales. It could be rewritten to simply have it the MC is just weird older fetish in this world and jettison the beginning isekai pages and nothing else would change.it really feels like the isekai part of this is just tacked on, 4 chapters in and nothing really 'isekai' has stood out.
