Just stop at this point. At least stop splitting up chapters if you're going to do poor translations.

Right? I'd understand for scanlations that actually have effort for the translations, doing it properly will take time so posting it by quarters is understandable so that people have something to read while the other parts of the chapter is still being translated but, if they're gonna just butcher the translation anyways just post it in one whole chapter.

Also I don't want people to misunderstand me and bombard me with "Just be happy they are scanlating it! if you don't like it do it yourself!." I would do it if I had time + manpower to do so I am thankful for the translation (mostly just type setting) but if you are gonna do something at least try to do it properly not half-ass the translation(it does make it faster for me than you know translating it with pictures and stuff but it is unbearable how little effort goes into their scanlations)

Also, Rightdark's chapter 9.5 mentions it in pretty similar terms. But let's use Degen's for reference...

First the team leader mentions that "this is my first time hearing this" (page 31 of degen's chapter 9).
Then he gets surprised that Orun can buff by 50 times. Apparently, first time hearing this too. (page 33)
And this applies to every explanation she's giving there.

Then Runa says that she mentioned "the same thing" several times... but everything points out that she repeated her opposition to the expulsion, but not her reasons. (Page 38) Pretty obviously, "the same thing" doesn't include the details. The "50 times" part at the very least would have left an impression given how much higher it is to other enchanters.

Which is exactly as mentioned earlier: they discussed it several times, she opposed the expulsion every time, but she never explained her reasons. So they finally excluded him while she was absent.

Either that or they have the memory span of a goldfish. Near literally.

She clearly had enough authority in the team to veto Orun's expulsion... but not enough to explain it?

Yeah, seems they got deleted (unsure if it was md doing so caused by lacking quality, or the group themselves doing it from feeling ashamed of poor quality). Luckily that other group tried to snipe back the manga, releasing their own ch8 right after rightdark (of much better quality), so we didn't end up with a chapter gap.

That’s how GD rolls, they squat and try to play the victim if competition shows up. All of their shit has always been like that.

I wonder if this group MTLs from Japanese to Spanish and the MTLs from the Spanish to English. They've had some chapters with punctuation at the beginning of sentences and that's a telltale sign of translation from Spanish.

No idea if MTL is involved or just a poor understanding of English, but they're definitely doing a Japanese->Spanish->English loop. If you just Google their team name, you get a Spanish site, not the one they've put on these English translations.

It's great that they're translating into Spanish, manga should be available in more languages whenever there's an interest. But this is definitely some bottom tier English translation.
