The elevator pitch that was the first two chapters was pretty interesting, but the story is kind of falling apart as it continues.

Our main character has an ability that has limited range and uses that will kill her if she runs out, while others seem to have unlimited uses and are overpowered. Other killers can commit crimes to strengthen their abilities, but MC can't take advantage of an entire mechanic the game was designed around since she has limited uses of her ability.

In the end, I hope the manga is able to catch itself before it falls apart too much... Otherwise, I hope its fun factor outweighs the weak parts of its writing.

Remember what was said about the abilities: They are purposefully scaled to balance the players against each other. If you think she was given an underwhelming ability (and I'd agree for the most part), that might be because even the creators of this game think that our little murderer murderer is an absolute terror and want the rest of them to have even a chance.

That part about causing fear can be a bit lopsided, though. On the good side, it's an effective tool to ensure escalation and conflict along the competitors, as going into hiding for months on end to stalk other potential contestants doesn't really make for good entertainment for the organizers and readers alike. But, even is we discount mc and the possibility that the mechanic was intentionally designed around keeping her in check, I wouldn't think every other contestant here shares same inclinations. This just seems to favor flashier methods, which limits approaches for this freak gallery.

On the other hand, maybe she could use this mechanic at least to some extent after all? I'd assume announcing that she's alive, unbothered by a death penalty and coming for you might cause some cold sweats among killers in the area. There's a chance that amount of fear might count for something.
