Wondering if she was framed by both the prince and her sister so that they'd end up together--or if it was a one-sided scheme orchestrated by the prince because he is obsessed with Aurora, manipulating aurora's opinion of karina on the way; or if she became too troublesome and involved as a pawn to the royal court (knows about corruption etc.) to the point that they'd have her killed even. She could just be as they say she is but I doubt the drastic change was because of a hunger for power than pains she had endured. I support her rights and wrongs either way.

This chapter made me think what if Aurora knew that Karina was forced to take her place as the prince's betrothed so she "took" the prince back to try and free her sister.

Thank you for your work!
im a little confused on the plot now, someone explain?
For whatever reason the little sister went behind Karina's back and took the prince, who created(maybe?) the reputation of Karina to be a villainess/evil and family covering the lie by ordering erasing any traces of her (to legitimate the change of marriage).
Eve (the archivist/historian) was doing her job, fell on the story, looked into it and from her dreams, might be the one being the books Karina has access to about the story of a girl saved by a wolf (monster) or whatever (pure speculation from me)

Wait. Not sure if my memory is hazy but I thought the scribe's story takes place 2 years after the events or something? Was it actually in parallel to the main story?

This chapter made me think what if Aurora knew that Karina was forced to
take her place as the prince's betrothed so she "took" the prince back to try and free her sister.
"So the sister was on her side after all"

Tho I want to believe karina is smart enough to see her sister's plan. Karina's view of her sister seemed like the sister has been manipulatively taken things from her since childhood and she's always despised it...

Unless the sister was so mental obsessed with karina she wants karina to have and need only her lol
