Hmmm, I'm not sure how I feel about him just accepting that she was part of the group that attempted to bully him. Sure, she was asked/told to by Rua, but does that really remove any responsibility from her? She's someone who joins in on bullying just because others do it, she goes with the immoral flow, a sheep in the herd that will bleat others out.

So I would have liked a little admonishment, for my own satisfaction.

MC is fully aware that all of the other students can't cross Rua for fear of serious repercussions. This is not a regular highschool bullying situation, these are extraordinary circumstances.

I mean it looked like Pig had some idea of Hiiragi's secret (working in a maid cafe, or something deeper than that like her poor financial situation) and is using it against her, gaining a minion in the process. We all know Pig is bigger scum than the expensive slop she likely eats, but if all those students in that karaoke room are in a similar situation to Hiiragi, then this was just the tip of the iceberg. They're just as much victims to her special brand of bullying as MC is.

The interesting part is, this was changed. In the novel she did laugh, and in this interaction we saw she sincerely apologizes for it. Kazu's answer is the same, he knows they are all afraid of the Pig.
This was probably changed to make her look more like a good girl, more sympathetic towards Kazu. I was ok with both ways, she is still my favorite FMC

Also i wonder what else they will change in this arc, since she was the 4th introduced in the novel, but here she is the 2nd. This was one of the cooler arcs so i hope they stick to the source as much as they can.

I kinda vibe with Rua getting the wrong message from Kazuma. Like, she's trying to win him over by playing to what he likes--hard workers--but doing it in a selfish way that's only satisfying to her and not him, increasing the distance between them.
