probably related to the secret medicine and why tomoe was asking makoto to drink lol
That may have been what the 'secret medicine' from last chapter was about.
Slippery slope? You sound like I'm pulling stuff out of my ass but I'm only talking about proven cases, manga/anime/LN translations have been butchered censored and AI translated constantly, everything documented enough to make me think fans should gatekeep harder and not give the companies an inch. You mean, making the translation sound consistent? Especially in cases like this one where the language of the work is just a stand-in for a fantasy language. Translation is about conveying meaning, not just words, across languages. The levels of respect honorifics convey can easily be translated into English with different titles or just by how commonly pronouns are used (would work well for the Priestess argument) and any additional meaning should be discernible through context (even if the translator has to add a little something in).
And for the record, I'm weeb enough to understand honorifics, but I just feel they're pure unnecessary clutter in this context (excluding when Mio, Tomoe, Shiki, etc., who use Japanese when speaking to MC).
Anyway, don't diss good translation practise with your slippery slope fallacy.
1)No one who can read on this site is unaware of honorifics and if they still somehow are - they are tourists and do not matter.Questions: Do I keep the honorifics with the titles? Like priestess-sama / Hero-dono or just remove them and only use with names only? Someone said they find this weird, need input!
Enjoy! Tho Sorry for the typesetting![]()
Always keep honorifics in terms of mangas and manhwas.Questions: Do I keep the honorifics with the titles? Like priestess-sama / Hero-dono or just remove them and only use with names only? Someone said they find this weird, need input!

does anyone know who the man on the last page is?
Keep them. Always keep them.Questions: Do I keep the honorifics with the titles? Like priestess-sama / Hero-dono or just remove them and only use with names only? Someone said they find this weird, need input!

It's a plant monster, so weed is the noun. It was mentioned in a previous chapter. Is it possible that both instances of "killing weed" are actually "weed killer"? they're talking about drinking something that burns going down, right?
You're comparing apples to oranges. Replacing honorifics is a perfectly sensible stylistic choice in this context, while all that other shit clearly has other, less pure intentions.Slippery slope? Please keep. It conveys the different levels of respect and there isn't an easy equivalent in English.Questions: Do I keep the honorifics with the titles? Like priestess-sama / Hero-dono or just remove them and only use with names only? Someone said they find this weird, need input!

It's a reference to when they were taste testing Mio's food before she learned to cook.Is it possible that both instances of "killing weed" are actually "weed killer"? they're talking about drinking something that burns going down, right?
She will have her chance laterSad Eva-san doesn't get to talk to Makoto :/
Did you fix it already in the older chapter or am I just blind because I just can't see it?also
the comment by @blablablub on chapter 112 (#22)
is real.Everyone else gave confused reactions to his comment lol, they were correct, this person has top tier eyes or a very good color accurate display!
i used to denoise raws using waifu2xgui and a loaned dataserver gpu.
but that wasnt the problem, i was new in ps and auto changed all the images to CMYK color format to use the genfill tool of ps since gen remove wasnt working properly for some texts and genfill didnt work in the raw greyscale format. So when i compared them yes, the cmyk images had blue tint but i did try to fix this by just cropping the cleaned background only! Nice of them to catch it.![]()
there's also (anime/LN spoiler obviously, added this for any other reader that hasn't watched the anime yet, don't read this)is Zara Hardis, leader of the Rotsgard Merchant Guild.
He dislikes Makoto already for a perceived laziness and using connections to bypass the time honored traditions of working up through apprenticeship to become a store-owning merchant. He is dealing with complaints about Makoto and his company from established places and will be verbally brutal in his handling of Makoto, who makes the mistake of lying to Zara and is caught out.

he kinda hates Rembrandt too and goes for his throat as a proxy of him (Zara was also in love with Rembrandt's wife, but he lose to him), humiliating Makoto lets him get to Rembrandt so he will owe him by helping Makoto in the future and as the anime later shows, he will eat his words and Rembrandt will get a good laugh at him for trying to mess with someone who shouldn't be mess with
