Probably more rage bait incoming. Betting at the end of all this we find it was just Raoul messing with Victoria's mind in hell to pass the time while he plots against the gods.
I want to say that that'd be outrageously bad writing, but this entire arc is already in bad taste as it is. I find it difficult to find a proper conclusion to it, that would, at best, make me go: "well that happened, anyway..." and not: "alright the author is stalling so much I don't care anymore, I'll check this out when it's done."
Like, really. What can possibly be a "proper" conclusion here? That Victoria is a poor victim and is misunderstood? She sure is a victim, but that doesn't excuse shit, unless the twist here is that "her real self, her soul, was sealed inside her body, and instead the king planted a crazy, but obedient spirit inside her, so she's actually good..!!" -- but, again, that'd be absolute garbage.
In a sense, I'm invested in seeing if the author is at all capable of making me go: "well shit I was totally wrong, this is actually solid."
But I am not holding my breath for it.
