Probably more rage bait incoming. Betting at the end of all this we find it was just Raoul messing with Victoria's mind in hell to pass the time while he plots against the gods.
I want to say that that'd be outrageously bad writing, but this entire arc is already in bad taste as it is. I find it difficult to find a proper conclusion to it, that would, at best, make me go: "well that happened, anyway..." and not: "alright the author is stalling so much I don't care anymore, I'll check this out when it's done."

Like, really. What can possibly be a "proper" conclusion here? That Victoria is a poor victim and is misunderstood? She sure is a victim, but that doesn't excuse shit, unless the twist here is that "her real self, her soul, was sealed inside her body, and instead the king planted a crazy, but obedient spirit inside her, so she's actually good..!!" -- but, again, that'd be absolute garbage.

In a sense, I'm invested in seeing if the author is at all capable of making me go: "well shit I was totally wrong, this is actually solid."
But I am not holding my breath for it.

The chapter is full of cute Vicky panels, but this one is my favorite by far.

No way young Raoul see's something totally fucked up. That would ruin the start of the story where Raoul was taken completely by surprise from the cruelty and evil of the kingdom. This has to be a red herring.

I'm furious that Victoria is portrayed as more and more adorable and cute with every chapter; I feel like I'm being manipulated, all because the author is probably just looking for a reason to give Victoria and Raul a happy ending :pout:

I just hope that in 3 or 4 chapters the author tells us 'no, actually it was all just a dream illusion since chapter 99'

Yeah. Unless this would be unscrewed via time-travel I seriously don't see any redemption arc for Vicky here.

Build up episode, not much going on.
We'll see what happens next time. I wonder what will happen, like people said Raoul can't see something disturbing since in the beggining of the series he was shocked to see the Kingdom's corruption.

That means maybe Vicky sees it...

To see Raoul so serious and determinated... Lil Bro really wanted to make this world a better place before it betrayed/broke him completely and flipped him into the Embodiment of Karma Itself.

Okay, you win.

Calling it now : Raoul is going to save Victoria from whatever is down there, becoming the very first person in her eyes to treat her like another human being and making her go all doki-doki for him... but sadly, experiencing that Love will make the perfect Vessel/target for the Goddess of Love twisted obsession for Raoul.

I mean, at this point, Brainwashing would be the only way she could technically be excused for her actions if it's really supposed to be a redemption arc and it was kinda hinted in a previous chapter she had some kind of link/pact with the Goddess since her childhood. Plus, it's kinda obvious how since her ressurection, she's acting WAY more like her young self, like the Goddess influence is gone, so, there's definitely something there !
