Laying down together after a tiring day, answering "yeah" like she knows exactly what he's talking about, the type of stuff married couples do after a long day and oddly enough, it fits them perfectly.

This series reminds us that these two have known eachother for almost a decade and behind the cute and embarassing moments, there lies scenes like these that doesn't have much dialogue yet says so much about their relationship.

I love yet also hate how the author decides to leave certain moments incomplete for the reader, such as the phonecall between An and Shunpei, or what they did between last chapter and this one, but in a way, it fits to leave them out. Something known only between those two. Another thing added to their long list of conversations between eachother. A secret they guard dearly not because it's embarrassing, but because they want to keep holding on to it, keep holding on to what's theirs, and only theirs.

There are people that prefer faster paced manga and that's okay, this manga isn't for them. But Futari Bus is a masterclass in slow burn romance manga in my opinion.
