I do know he does leave with Melty (who sneaks in by cutting her horns off, which had a chance to kill her doing it). He asks the slimes to protect the saintess while he is gone, since they can sneak around the castle without being seen. They are all introduced to each other. When he leaves with Melty, thats when he realizes that Melty really loves him, cause of how she risked her life just for the chance to find/save him, so they get together too.

Also on the way back they meet a dragon. New waifu alert

I kinda wonder what he will say.

Mostly because when they meet, first thing he does is bring out a rocket launcher against her. Also, doesn't transform into waifu for a long period of time, she is mostly like a mercenary that gets paid in food (she likes cheesburgers) and generally wont do anything unless he feeds her first.

We also learn during that fight that Melty is like.. really scary. Its not just her aura of being mean, she is special in the sense she is unnaturally powerful for her species, its the real reason everyone is so afraid of her

I estimate only a few more chapters left for him being in the capital as well. Kosuke’s health is now almost back to normal and they‘re almost in the point in the LN where Kosuke and Elenora are going to plan for how to communicate with each other and meet up again. As he says goodbye and leaves Elen, that’s where he runs into Melty…

I read the LN because the manga chapters were slow in coming…

For a chapter just FULL of text, this was a great one. We had solid conversations about the plan and future with the MC and saintess, got to see their silly dynamic once again, and resolved their unspoken issues. Also got a lore drop with those freaking elder elves. Glad his poison is getting resolved, him sitting in bed has been a couple chapters already, hope we get to see some movement soon.

Funny to think that with that one agreement to team up for this plan, he added +3 to his harem (the only humans), though they won't join until he adds at least 2 more on his way out the door, then I forget how many more are added in the mean time, and then once the plan's done that adds uhhh... 4 more? I went ahead and did a re-count on Kosuke’s harem. So far it’s Sylphy, Ira, and 12 harpy’s. The 3 slime girls, then Melty is soon to join, followed closely by Grande the dragon. Then 3 female ogres followed by Elena and her 2 attendants. And I think there’s gonna be possibly 4 more on top of THAT!

25-29 females wanting his attention?! KOSUKE really DOES have a nice boat going there! But I don’t think he’d have the right to complain about being lonely!

No actually I was included Elen's attendants. The harpies have made their intentions clear by this point in the LN. It's just that the number of them jumps way up.

Sylphy is a lot more sympathetic if you look at her and Kousuke as a kinksploration couple with no boundaries, total trust in one another, tons of aftercare lavished on each other and the willingness to postgame about whether or not they were both okay with whatever went down. Which they did after the Harpy Incident.

Your friend acts stupidly, you punch your friend and give them a blackeye, your friend laughs it off and goes "yeah, you're right, I deserved that." Did the blackeye disappear after that? No, of course not.
Sylphy and Kousuke may have talked about it and been all "whatever" about it after the fact, but that doesn't change the fact that Sylphy had the harpies rape Kousuke to keep their spirits up before the dangerous mission the day after.
All that means is that Kousuke accepted that he had been raped, nothing more.
