On p. 28 you left a quotation open. I say to leave the pronunciation (pro-nunts-ee-ay-shun) of foreign placenames on a TL Note page or at least in the margins instead of putting them at the end of a bubble.

Święte Las -> should be Święty Las or Święte Lasy because "Święte" is a plural and Las is singular (while Lasy is plural) so you either use both singular or both plural. And later when boy says to priest he is from "Las" it really doesn't convey any specific location. "Las" just means forest and in the past there were plenty of small villages like "Czarny Las", "Stary Las", "Królów Las" just to give some examples, because there were plenty of forests and villages were erected in vicinity. So the boy should say full name of his village here otherwise there is no way anyone could guess where he is from. It's like he is saying I came from the forest, figure out which one.
Viscount Czaple introduction also is a bit cumbersome because Czaple is plural (it means heron birds). So probably it should be Viscount of Czaple (like a Duke of Windsor but Czaple would be his family's coat of arms instead of a place) or less likely Viscount Czapla (singular, it would mean that only him specifically is the reffered to as such, like a nickname). It could also be Viscount of Czapla (singular, then his coat of arms would be one heron bird).

I disagree with 2 things.
Firstly, they mentioned as a response to my earlier comment that in the raws it is Święte Las as a direct spelling of kana, and (as I already mentioned in that comment) they probably did this because there's no kana for "-ty" and the closest available would be "-te" which they used. So be as it may, it is a faithful translation and unless proven to be strictly Poland, it could be correct. "The author is always right" kind of thing.
Secondly I think saying Las instead of the full name is fine, especially if it is said by a young boy who probably did not even see the world outside his little village. And even if there were other similar named locations in his vicinity he would still shorten it to Las simply because he usually talks with people who don't need the additional context (i.e. talking with other villagers about his village). To give an example from my personal experience - my parents live in a village with a two-part name like that and me and my sister shorten it all the time when talking about it.

I'd agree with you on Czaple and I'd assume it was supposed to be "of Czaple". There is kana for "-ra" ("-la") so it seems deliberate here to be plural.

I wonder how Święte Las looked in the raws because if you were to translate holy forest into polish it would be Święty (shfyentih) Las instead.

I imagine transliterating polish into a anything other than latin or cyrillic alphabet must be hellish
