Yes and no. I'm fine with a slow, relaxed isakai life. It doesn't have to be super legendary and heroic like Faraway Paladin. But if you're not going to make the metaplot interesting, then you need to have interesting characters with deep dives into their personalities and interactions with each other, I was really enjoying the six volumes of him and his slave-wife Roxanne, but now that it's a harem, we don't have any focus on her except that one chapter when Sherry was busy and it was just the two of them. I was worried adding harem members was going to be a mistake, and it was.
