Probably these guys love to be abused.

But in all honesty if she can mend her ways, highly improbable, and remain a true friend for the MC. It can lessen or eliminate the trauma.
Or he could jsut beat the sh*t out her and get over it.

By the way author is trying to portray this with that capt. I think it the mix, she would probably change for the better seeing this is Japanese(harem, with a tsundere ring a bell) . So those guys might be right. I although I would be disappointed if that happens.

I can't believe she's still that delusional about the situation. The shock of him breaking things off due to her actions must have really jarred her mind to the point that she honestly think she was being kind to him. Giving someone gear and money to offset your horrible treatment of them....is not an act of kindness. She probably actually believe it's just a phase and he'll come back to her..... it's kind of sad in a way.
Also had she been using those nobles to vent her stress instead of her boyfriend, things could have taken a much different turn. She needs to beat that wanna-be playboy badly.

They don't. Rather, they see the potential for said abuser to mend her ways and realize how she had treated him wrong. Odds are, she'll eventually start to realize that how she treated her ex was truly wrong and she should have given him more respect, love, and affection. So it wouldn't be going back to an abuser, but someone that has reformed and will now treat him better.

For me, I'm not really caring who gets the end result. It's easy for him to fall for this new girl, cause that wouldn't be any surprise. I am more interested in seeing the abuser start to reform and become better as a person. She makes a more interesting story.
