Sorry to bother you but no, you just don't run out of ideas. The author said it themselves that this was supposed to portray their daily life together. There is a huge amount of things they both can do together. The author could turn this into a slow-life manga and no one would care. The author could rehash ideas and no one would care. That is because the core essence of this manga is still present. That's great in my opinion. Author did a good thing, adding side couple to slow down the progression. Otherwise the author would have run out of ideas before reaching chapter 50.
I kinda agree with you. But sometimes adding these "sub-plots" can advance the main plot. Horimiya did that badly so hopefully this time it will be goodSorry to bother you but no, you just don't run out of ideas. But when you add a side-couple that's like giving you food you never ordered. Some stories do not need side-characters if the core of the story is based on the main characters. This is one of the biggest things I've hated about Horimiya. I could cut down a lot of chapters from Horimiya and it wouldn't matter to the story at all because like I said, I was there for Hori and Miyamura. The end of the story is also about Hori and Miyumara. Side characters are completely irrelevant there. Though I appreciate Horimiya running for this long, it being a monthly manga and all that.
Anyways, this would have been the worst chapter in the manga if not for that one panel of Miku smiling. I hope this would be the end of this clownshow but "Next time, Miku and the President suddenly get close?!" indicates it won't be the end of that. Sigh...
I guess we had 19 chapters of our fun
From a storytelling perspective, that's the purpose of sub-plots. They're there to give a different point of view of the issues of the main plot, or to help the main characters resolve their issues, or just highlight the progress the main characters are making.I kinda agree with you. But sometimes adding these "sub-plots" can advance the main plot. Horimiya did that badly so hopefully this time it will be good
